If there is really only one obvious candidate (who is only 4 months into a 3 year contract and has already said he won't leave to manage his home nation) then it kind of suggests they won't be looking at ditching their manager just yet. TBF the Pellegrini out shouts are mainly from the media. But he does seem completely clueless in Europe...
Would be ridiculous to sack Pellegrini...so it's gone wrong...boo hoo. Have to give managers time. How impatient would a club have to be...they won the title last season for heaven's sake.

I would never endorse these quick sackings, but has the guy learnt anything from two CL campaigns? Still playing and losing his way and unwilling to adapt, he shouldn't be too surprised if they do let him go.
