It's the best as were the only country to have a real league structure that's not completely bastardised from division 2/3 onwards. England is the only big real footballing nation in the world.
I imagine you look a bit like this puppy dog, Tickler. All the time. Whether you're sad, angry, hungry, intrigued, or mildly amused. You're such a simple man. I'd put you somewhere between Karl Pilkington and complete ****ing vegetable on the IQ scale. please log in to view this image
Bundesliga. Quicker game than in England, more physical with less diving, better attendances, Bayern have been the most consistent team on the planet in the past 5 years and have won equal the european cups / champions leagues of the best English example so their reputation must be pretty strong, much better stadiums, better fans experience. Refs arent as bad though.
If someone asked you the best city in the world what would you answer? Unless its where you live **** off there then. Or who is the best player in the world? **** off and live in Ronaldo's house then. How does me saying a different country's top division is better equate to living there?
Probably the least competitive and it will only get worse. Bayern totally dominating it and due to FFP will have it sewn up for years to come. Some of the European Cups were through bribery and cheating anarl. Bit like the Italians. The fan experience is a bit of a red herring too. Theres very few of those tenner tickets( or whatever is quoted) available. The majority pay a ****ing lot.
There isnt a cat in hell's chance of any team other than Chelsea or City winning the league for the next 2 years. Once Dortmund are over their blip, with their superior attendances theyll always compete. Its the same. Bloody cheating foreigners eh? Its the only way they can win. I didnt mention ticket prices once.
vanerama conference north. bit unique, very unique, moderately unique. boring! always coming in from those with less than perfect grammar themselves who've learnt a thing and trot it out every week. i'm unique in this room, you know. i expect lots of us are unique in our rooms. anyone else unique in theirs?
Wots grammer got too do wiv it? I nevver menshunned grammer. And I don't think I've ever posted this before, so saying I 'trot it out every week' is a bit strong.
i'll let you off then but there's always someone. just going to remove the word "fact" from my previous post...
Guess what? I used those words as a turn of phrase to express negativity towards your post. I wasn't actually, seriously, suggesting you relocate to germany. Hope this clears things up for you.
Is it f**. Bayern keep buying all of Dortmunds best players. Lewnadowski Gotze. They're after Reus next. They intend to trigger a 19 million buyout clause. How are they going to compete when Bayern have all the money and keep buying their best players. Bayern have sewn up the league weeks before the season ends the last two years. You say only City and Chelsea for the next two years but it was Liverpool the season just gone who could and should have won it. Man U were the champions the year before. So more competition. Ye the foreingers do have a history of bribing officals dont they? Im sure you know Inter bribed the refs for the Cup wins in the 60's and so did Bayern in the 70's.
Well said you big ****. Mind you, it may not be like that too much longer if Greg 'self-hating white' Dyke gets his way. ****ing B-team ****.
Aside from the fact that the opening post is by mussie, so by definition semi-******ed, I'd be more than happy to see a foreign player limit reinstated. Say 5 overseas players per matchday squad. I think the England team picked today shows the effect the massive influx of foreign players into the PL has had on the English game. I would love young English players to be given priority in the top academies and come through into the first teams, but while clubs can buy into more talented overseas players/youngsters then they will continue to do so. However, 'm not sure a player limit is feasible any more as it would most likely result in reduced interest in the PL, reduced TV income, financial hardship for the whole pyramid structure by knock-on effect. We really have got into a stupid position which has been entirely manipulated by Murdoch taking advantage of greedy people in the football world. I enjoy watching the PL but to be fair, the Championship has been far more exciting so far this season.
So there's a few similarity's, but they're hardly the same are they? Bundesliga is a way better league imo in terms structure and the state of the national game as a result. A million miles from the Premier league which seems to welcome so many average overseas players. It's nowt like the Premier League IMO
