Really? Arsenal don't try after they think they've secured champions league football for next season? Hmm, I highly doubt that.
It almost looks like they've reverted back to the days of "dualling"; where the men wear monstrous moustaches and carry their hands round their chest daring one to go for it. Maybe I was spoiled with the boxing I grew up watching.
simply put for the likes of fergie and roman and the sheikhs money is not the issue, trophies are for arsenal board trophies are a bonus but priority is stay in the black and make some wonga If wenger didnt qualify for a couple of seasons =sacked as long as he does, but continues to win nothing = employed
Of course. He's average if you compare him to them lot yes, but at the moment he's a good heavyweight.
"You hit me" "No, you hit me" Couldn't give a **** about the lost bets or the outlay for the fight, so long as you get a bit of VFM.
BH, I don't particually blame Klitschko for how he fought tonight, he's limited and just does what he knows ? Haye could of made it a decent contest if he wasn't too scared of losing, but that's him I guess. He talks bolloxs beforehand then hasn't got the bottle to get in close n make a decent fight of it.
The comparison test still stands in order to dictate if someone is good though. That is how we define things. FFS, this meat-clad, micro-processor would've got pummelled by Foreman, Frazier, Ali, Tyson, et al. Him and his brother rely on their size and their ability to stick out a jab and tame the current set of talentless monkies. In the history of the heavyweight division, I doubt he or his brother will remembered in future years...except for killing the divison in the early century
First 'big' fight I have missed in God knows how long. The only surprise for me is that Klitchko never knocked him out like he promised he'd do. it is these events that get non boxing fans watching and sadly by the sounds of it, these kinds of events that will stop folk from watching Fury Vs Chisora which will in all likelihood be technically poorer but a better fight.
He Talked bollocks to talk himself up, to sell the fight and to lure Klitchko into losing his cool. That it is now all hot air is by the by to be honest.
Wenger is the manager best suited to the conditions of the job atm. The Arsenal board are just realistic enough to know that it would be impossible for any other manager in the world to even compete with teams on the budget of Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd. There is simply no point in sacking Wenger at the moment.
I do not have any problem whatsoever if someone is arrogant if they have earnt that right, but Haye has done ****all in the heavyweight division and has disrespected Klitschko for ages saying he is going do this that and the other to him and in the end runs about like a pussy and gets deservedly beat by a much superior boxer and then still carries on being a prick by going on about an injury (which to me just sounds just like a rationalisation), he had been totally outclassed and it would of made no difference if he had an injury or not.
You missed nothing. Utter gash from start to finish. Yes, Fury v Chisora will be decent for action, but not quality. I fancy Chisora to upset the applecart.
Rebel, just as well he retiring then eh ? Because I doubt many people would pay to watch him fight again, the blokes got no heart.
wenger is the right manager for the board as he brings in the money It will be interesting if trophies become the requirement with a take over and if wenger stays Arsenal budget is deceptive, low outlay but high wages
Correct. Beat yet another Eastern European robot in Valuev (how **** is he by the way) and then pummelled Ruiz (who should've been enjoying just getting old) and all of a sudden he's entitled to a shot at the big time Just sums up how deprived of talent the heavyweight division is.
