Not sure that's how it would work though. For a poll, carrabuh would have to supply all the possibles, to which we'd nominate our preferred choice. I would suggest he is looking for us to chip in with our own suggestions. I may be wrong, and indeed, usually am. Edit: Repetition of suggest/ions
I've gone for every single one. Except for meerkats, because that implies an element of ingenuity about them.
Sticks and Stones... We are currently the better team with better players and a better manager and that's all that really matters.
As Mr Loaf said 2 outa 3 ain't bad, team currently, maybe, yesish, manager distinct possibility, players not on your nelly! I think the sequence would be worst to best as follows: S.Whittaker Ipswich entire squad remainder of Norwich squad Bah!
The best thing that happened was you beating us and giving us the kick up the arse we clearly needed. Since then we have picked up 22 points and we haven't looked back so thanks for that.
That might be your biggest problem, your players think they are better than what they are and think this league was gonna be easy. Long way to go as yet though so don't panic and give Adams a chance...
Wise words Players like Turner signed a new contract and have played like they don't believe the Championship is beneath them. Some of the others, despite outward protestations that they're committed, I'm not so sure about...
This league is littered with ex Premier League clubs who thought that they would be in this league for just one season! Blackburn, Birmingham, Wigan, Bolton, Middlesborough and even Blackpool. Relegation does have a massive impact on the confidence of the players and some think that they are better than they really are and the team ethic is lost as a result. It's time for rebuilding and getting back the ingredients that made you successful in the first place. This takes time if it is to be done properly but the big problem is that time is not a consideration that is made by fans and directors alike. It remains to be seen if Adams can rebuild the team and get the best out of what is a decent squad of players. The jury for me is very much out on this one.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Psycho Pearce gets the bullet soon if he doesn't turn around Forests fortunes and it could well be after this weekend! Another case of an owner who makes an appointment based on sentiment rather than hard nosed achievement and experience. The pressure must be unbearable on him to deliver success after all the millions he's spent. Adams I'm sure will be given time but he does need experienced heads around him. I just thank our lucky stars that we have Mick and Terry!
