--------------------Forster---------------------- Clyne----Chambers---------Cahill--------Shaw Walcott----------Henderson-----------Oxlade-Chamberlain --------------Lallana---Rooney----------------- ------------------Lambert----------------------- Prefer this setup Swap Rooney for Sterling if you want to.
I'm not his biggest fan but Wilshere was England's best player in the last 2 games, I doubt he'll be dropped Actually I see what you've done there
I don't know what the rest of the country saw, no one talks about England any more other than to moan about Hodgson. He was the only one I saw create anything
The problem with England; Walcott even being considered.... Wt actual f! He's not played one full game In other times a player would take 6 months to get a sniff
Roy Hodgson on Wayne Rooney, set to win his 100th cap against Slovenia tomorrow: "I congratulate him, just like I had the pleasure of congratulating Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. It's quite incredible that under my watch four players have done the same." #oblivious dinosaur **** In other words you haven't moved the team forward at all so they've gone from **** to **** and old under your regime please log in to view this image "I think Leighton Baines's injury might be the accumulation of Everton playing a lot of games recently." but the rest were your incompetence right?
The Walcott and Downing inclusion makes no sense. Walcott based on the fact he's just been out for a while and hasn't played a full game and Downing because he's been in the team before and added zero toward it, we know what he brings to games and he isn't the answer. This is what really pisses me off abiut England, they need to bring in the player who's on form regardless of age. Boothroyd and Davies are just two examples of players having a good couple of games and think they've earned a place in England. To play for your country should be earned, England have a massive pool to select from. It's not like Wales or Nothern Ireland where a player with a hint of nationality in them get snapped up into the squad. The players who have hit a bit of form should only accepted if their young and haven't been in the team before. Downing will offer nothing towards the progress of england.
Wilshire is only good when he can get the ball and drive forward past players. He does try and play 1-2's round corners but I'd say they come of 50% of the time. Against lower opposition,, this is good because it's a creative spark needed but against better opposition im not sure. Can you justify losing possession that often in top class international football and not get punished? One thing everyone knows is he's not a DM. He'd not good enough defensively (much like Gerrard) and when he does burst forward and end up losing the ball he leaves a huge gap behind him.
Downing's played well, but we all know he won't play in the number 10 spot for England, so he'll be shoved out wide where he'll offer nothing. Hodgson just has no clue tbh. Picks easy names to call up and starts in tactically inept formations but always calls up the one or two young names currently in the news so that he appears to be 'with the times' and 'identifying the latest talent'.
Clyne starts at RB. Good choice, probably been the best English RB in Prem last couple of years. England: Hart Clyne Cahill Jagielka Gibbs Wilshere Henderson Lallana Welbeck Rooney Sterling
i stilll do not know why people call it 4-4-2... with rooney it its 4-4-fat batard-uselss manc I mean come on sterling will spend more time as rb than right forward
