Thanks for the poll well done. Now I can feel good Saturday when we win It'll all be down to me cos sure as he'll won't be Rodgers when he puts the johnsons of this world back in
Or is BR playing 'mind games'? "Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers insists striker Daniel Sturridge is not fit to face Chelsea this weekend. The 25-year-old appeared to hint that he could feature against the Blues in an Instagram post that he later deleted. But Rodgers insists Sturridge is still following his rehabilitation programme and is not ready for action. In his pre-match press conference, the Reds boss confirmed that Sturridge would not be facing his former club in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off. He said: “He’s out on the field today with the rehab team, he was moving very well. “But he’s probably a little bit of time away.” Sturridge has not featured for Liverpool since 31 August after picking up a thigh injury in England training. He then suffered a calf injury as he was nearing a return to action."
I'm not bothered if he misses the Chelsea game. He's not been called up for England so he'll get a good break and be ready come the Palace game.
If he's not ready for palace I vote we buy his replacement on January.... Oh Eric meijer or the like should complement balotelli if that's Rodgers plans
Can only see a chav win. They have an even better team this season and Jose will set it up tight, I can't see us scoring sadly. 0-1 or 0-2 to the chavs.
So basically, if we play anything similar to what we played against Real, we'll have a good performance - albeit I still can't see us scoring so best would be a scrappy 1-0 win from a set piece or a goalless draw. If we play what many suspect is Rodgers' first team, I fully anticipate us to get beaten convincingly. Doesn't matter how well we play tbh, at the moment without Sturridge, I see no goals in the team.
Seen on the News this morning that Gerrard has a twinge (I think they said in his hamstring?) That's if if its true...
