I can understand them disliking Lovren but I think the attitude towards Lallana and Lambert is ridiculous. Both gave plenty of services to the club so surely they should just wish them all the best and move on?
I understand completely the utter contempt for their ex-players who they felt left in the worse way, as Liverpool fans we should understand it because we've had it happen several times but to be camping on the Liverpool board wishing failure at every possible opportunity and droning on about who's a leader and who isn't makes them look more than a little ridiculous. Were they ever on here before last summer? I never once went on a Chelsea board when Torres left, I kept an eye on their results to see if Torres had turned his form around and may even have had a little smile to myself when he hadn't scored, especially after the antics of some of the Chelsea fans, but this new obsession is just bizarre.
I'll be happy if we win. Not too surprised if we lose. I assume Gerrard will be back since he was rested. Hopefully Rodgers learnt something from the Madrid game as to what works and what doesn't. I'm not dead set against Ballo starting but if he does he shouldn't be the lone striker.
True which is why I said I understand they dislike of Lovren because, simply put, he was a **** in the way he went about getting his move. So much so that I actually said I hoped we didn't sign him because of that alone; if he can do it to one club he can do it to another. They got a good deal for Lambert who left respectfully. Why moan or dislike him? I don't get it. Lallana said about already being at Liverpool so fair enough, I can see the annoyance with that but he also gave them many years of quality services AND they got £25m for him! Let bygones be bygones, why dwell on it? I actually felt sorry for Torres towards the end of his Chelsea reign. Now he's gone abroad I'd love to see him re-find some form and start banging in th goals again. Can't see it happening though.
All of the above is because you are a sensible, well balanced chap who can see things for what they are
Saints fans have no bitterness towards Lambert. He will go down as a legend in Saints history and many are calling for a cheeky loan bid in January as backup for Pelle Lovren nuff said. Brought back from the dead when Saints bought him from Lyon, jumped at the first opportunity and from what people say he is not a very nice person on or off the pitch. Lallana would have been a legend were it not for the lying. You don't say you want to retire at a club 6 months before you say you have been dreaming of playing for someone else.........for 6 months and all that time kissing the badge. He is a great player but a lying bastard and the fact the OS announcement was a single line stating he had been sold says it all. No thanks for what he had done at all.
Lovren has a nice Mrs http://www.90min.com/posts/1515352-...ures-of-croatia-squad-were-leaked?a_aid=35322
