I've shat better..... Maybe it's time to smell coffee and get rid of all these over-paid cucumber pickers. Far too many over-paid foreign Johnies protected by the over-paid Murdoch sponsored nose in the trough pundits and Premiership stakeholders. And don't forget it's the over-paying British fan and tele watcher who pays. Time for a return to real British football when real British teams used to win European cups!!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29362950
Im pretty sure this discussion comes along every single year when ALL evidence proves the EPL isnt the best in the world and then come August everyone forgets about it again.
Vanarama conference. Why do people voluntarily use the tacky sponsor names so much? I can understand it with the KC for example with it always being called that, but why do people go from saying league cup to capital one cup or whatever it is now. I'd have just said conference. I think this is a much better topic than Mussys.
I understand that the production of cucumbers in the Ivory Coast and Argentina fell off a cliff when Toure and Aguero respectively left their home countries. What makes your point even more amusing is that Man City lost to a team who had both their goals scored by an Ivorian, a team who play in a country that produces more cucumbers than any other country bar China, Iran and Turkey. I put it to you that it is CSKA Moscow who should be employing more Ivorians and less "cucumber-pickers".
I think your possibly confusing Cucumbers with Pineapples, the Ivory Coast is nowhere near being one of the largest cucumber producing nations(unless you just put that for effect, in which case, just ignore this post).
and I thought it was the Bananarama Conference. Had an end of season image of 3 aging, collagen-injected, silicone implanted female has-been popstars awarding a trophy to Barnet Town.
Who says it's the best league in the world like? Are they still in flares? Things and times change. It's the most challenging league in the world and most unique league in the world but best? Na.
By definition something can't be 'most unique', it's either unique or it isnt. One league cannot be more unique than another. But that aside, what do you think makes it the 'most unique'? It's the only one where most fans sit in silence as if they're at the opera?
We may not have the best players in the world, or even the best teams, and everyone knows our National squad isn't great, but the Premier League is the best global brand. There's a reason people all round the world are obsessed with British teams. That doesn't mean Man City should beat everyone else.
Fair dos, you're quite right. It's non quantifiable. Pace(except for Sunderland ), physicality, worst standard of officiating in the world, attendances, global reputation, corporate investment. Combine all that and name me one league that's similar. I'll be very impressed if you can name one.
