I like that. In fact it could catch on, so that "to scarf" becomes a verb meaning "to post something informative or mildly amusing about a non-football topic". In PL's case, of course it will have a secondary meaning: "to seek advice about one's love life".

I like it because it has no cheesey name (don't want to disrespect the great man) and also because the scarf is iconic for us now.

Beefy makes a good point though PL...You can end up torturing yourself by over-analysing every situation and it can become an illness if done to the extrreme (look at John Cleese).

What happened to John Cleese? And it's easier said than done, how does one stop over-analysing everything when that's somthing they do naturally?

John Cleese had several years in therapy for being over analytical. It is a curse of being highly intelligent and sensitive, you need to let things come to their own conclusion without thinking too much about things that are out of your control.

Yes, I thought that was a bit strong too! <laugh>

No offence meant PL, but as others have said, you maybe need to be a bit more relaxed about life. I'm not saying you should necessarily just let every situation develop without any input from yourself, but you shouldn't see every setback as a disaster. Remember the old saying: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Alabama 3 at the Brook 26th November. One of the best live bands I've seen, brought back memories of seeing Geno Washington and the Ram Jam band at small venues. Ages me I suppose, I was 16 in '66.
