Form wise, away from home Blackpool have failed to win drawing two and losing five managing only 4 goals while conceding 13.

I fully expect us to win and you would hope it would be by 2 goals minimum.

The win will have many jumping for joy and thinking we can climb the table but when you look at our fixtures up until the new year:

Away to Blackburn, Ipswich, Forest and Derby

Home to Blackpool, Derby, Fulham and Wigan

I can see us getting 6-7 points, would this be enough to keep us out of the relegation zone?

Peterborough went down with 54 points last year, at the turn of the new year for the past two seasons 25 and 26 points were required to be above the drop zone. We are on 17 so my prediction could mean we are right on the cusp.

I have us as wins against Blackpool and Wigan at home with a draw against Forest away.

I have a feeling Fulham and Derby will well and truly stuff us at home.

Must admit this has put a smile on my face. Who could make any attempt to predict any results in this division. We could lose every game, equally we could win them all. Same as every other team in it. I'll try one game at a time. A less than confident one that we'll beat Blackpool

Not trying to predict any results, just how many points we can reasonably expect to win and if that would be enough to see us safe(r) <ok>

Understood but to make a point prediction I'd have to have a go at predicting each game. As I've got only one right so far this season, I'm not the man for the job. I've probably jinxed the Blackpool one already Ristac

Aye but they'll have a days less rest and will be knackered against us. At least that's one of the excuses some of our ex managers used to use <doh>

So by the end of ths year we would have played 24 games ?. With 17 pts from 16 games so far l would expect 24 points in total from those fixtures listed.
1 point a game is relegation form and I really hope I am wrong. I dont think our winter period will be kind to our Italian players and fur gloves will be the order of the day.
    But you never know ..........

The Italians won't be any worse

Talking of Blackpool and them being down to 10 men http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29813396 never quite seen stats like it and managing to hold out for a draw.

Also I didn't realise they had one Nile Ranger playing for them... Hope he doesn't haunt us on Saturday

I would have preferred a Fulham win.
