with good reason and its no joke either. baldee, cheers as always i still cant believe NTTDS is banned. i thought some threads were quite good like his picture threads etc. surely just ignoring the crap threads would be best just so they still get the pictures from games and the other good threads, im sure there is more than just the picture threads. or just make a thread dedicated to him so he can add all his stuff in 1 place so there wont be tons of threads. a compromise if you like. seems strange that a passionate red who was a mod gets banned from his own board for not doing anything wrong apart from making lots of threads, which to be fair is spamming, so this must be the issue but seems bad as an outsider if you know what i mean. oh well, up to them. i feel sorry for the guy but i guess people tried asking him to stop and he didnt. i hope you are behaving yourself over their baldee
Believe it or not, I am pretty much behaving myself! So, if you don't go over there how do you know about NTTDS' threads? From what I gather, he was asked to stop spamming their board with junk on several occasions both by PM and publicly but he refused to engage. I think Shiny got so exasperated that he felt he had no other option but to ban him. Bit harsh and it has split opinion on their board but with no engagement you can't work out a compromise. To be fair, I think that their mods were stuck between a rock and a hard place with this. I took the piss for a while but I can see the dilemma they had. However, it doesn't look good from some perspectives and they will lose members as a result which is a pity because both boards have certainly seen a lull in activity recently. He was a first class fruit loop though I'm more annoyed about Danny being banned outright because that clearly affects our board. I'd like to see him, P49, Chris and a few others back to be honest. You do know why I dont go over to the City board dont you? I know about NTTDS as he has been doing threads for ages. Way before I stopped going over to their board, So I know about him and his threads back then! Also since I stopped posting over their, I recieved a PM from a red who asked if we can have NTTDS instead of City, or its was something along those lines. I said no we dont want him as we have myself who seems to post a lot of threads on our board, im the gas version of NTTDS but obviously nowhere near as bad I made a comment in this thread a day or 2 ago that I havent took the piss about NTTDS in about a year. I was wrong. I just looked for it and it was only back in June! Seems strange that he wouldnt engage with shiny and wiz. Regarding Danny, making lots of accounts is apparently breaking rules so supermods is right but going by some comments on here that his other accounts wasnt taking the piss or abusive, some leniency may be good like just a ban from the City board. Hope he is allowed back soon. Hope a gas mod can persuade a supermod to reinstate 1 account as he has been banned for a period of time already, maybe a slap on the wrist.
