Yeah heaven forfend that this "young" manager might have actually learned something and applied tactics

What he need to next learn is to shut his stupid gob and not say rest anyone and not write the presses headlines for them

**** it just say Gerrard was dropped and be done with it... The real reasons were lost were

    1. We've no attack even if coutinho and sterling play... Reality check

    2. Real were at most playing 50%

Disagree - for once, we were actually solid and defended as a unit and we stopped them from playing. <ok>

Have to agree with you here. They played as well as they could.

But it is not only the Mail that is saying that. All the UK press and not only tabloids - Guardian, Independent, Telegraph, etc. They are all saying BR played a weakened side and "trampled on our heritage" as one put it.

The person to blame (at least partially) is clearly BR himself. Why did he say we were prioritising matches, that the regulars were being rested. saying and hinting that the side will be weakened - without 6 regulars. In a way BR and the fans only felt vindicated and supported him because of the result. No one had predicted a 1-0 defeat. It is a loss nevertheless and to be honest BR himself didn't think we could even get a point otherwise he would have played Sterling and Coutinho/Henderson.
