We've misplaced some pretty straight forward passing and invited counters onto ourselves, and aren't coping with their pace. But are using our pace well, Oxo, Chambers and Sanchez all playing well, though I think Gibbs has been good defensively, I'd like to see him more attacking in the 2nd half. Hopefully Welbeck gets a goal this half, coz he's been close and the defence have been all over him, though a couple of times his touch or positions have been poor, and he should have scored from Oxo's pass.
Szcz, Sanchez, mert, chambers and Arteta have been our best players this half. Happy to be comfortably winning but we have to be careful about allowing them too much space on the counter as they have some quick young, energetic players who could take chances if we let them create them. Ramsey and Welbeck are both working hard but not quite managing to have the desired effect, as long as they keep putting in the effort I'll be happy with there performances though. Oxocube has looked good since he's moved over to the left, his pace at times is electric. We need to keep our foot on the gas and push for another goal. Pressure will keep them at bay but we also need to not overcommit or they will have chances on the counter. Hopefully more of the same and more goals to come!
Dortmund 1-0 up. At this point we have qualified for the KO stages, but personally I'd like to see Dortmund lose and give us the chance to beat them at home and finish top in the group.
Yeah its 2-0 to Dortmund now. Gonna have to beat them at the Emirates 3-0 or just beat them and trash Gala and hope Anderlecht hold them up.
Lovely goal by the Ox. Sadly, I cannot see us beat Dortmund 3-0. They are super effective in their counter attack (and also taking into account our kinda-dodgy defence). We simply have to beat Real Madrid!
Perfect time to bring on walcott.....Anderlecht will press now which means there will be lots of space.
