Not sure I understand the negativity tbh. Our 'strongest' and available team this season has been **** and, with the best of intentions, we've no more than a tiny outside chance of beating Madrid but we have every chance of winning the last two games to quality still. So, rest some of the better players for the league next week, give some fringe players a chance to play their way into the side and go out there with no reason to be scared because no one expects us to win anyway. That said, a team without Johnson, Gerrard or Balotelli 'should' be much more high energy and team based rather than the ball always going through Gerrard and being slowed down/lost by Mario or Glen. I think we'll play alright, regardless of the score.
Have to say, i think Lucas has been punished harshly for his poor performance vs Saints. He and Gerrard should be rotated every other game

I'll be ecstatic if we get points here... but honestly... can't see us going far in Champions League this season and would rather we focus on league. If we lose... meh.
