It's debatable if ever went into meltdown anyway. The people using the term meltdown seem to use it to just describe a load of posts from people that don't agree with them. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh you don't think like me?? MELTDOWN!!!!!!!! <yikes>"

I could just as easily describe your replies and baiting to them as the cause of any said 'meltdown'.

But even then, there's been hardly any of these occurrences since A87 and NPC left, so you're not saying a fact in the slightest. You're just baiting more of those posts to appear.

And yes, if we put in a poor show and scrape past a dire Anderlecht team I won't be impressed. We've played poor football for too long. We need to trash the garbage teams and beat the good teams.

And Dortmund are in the bottom 3 in the Bundasliga, but that is no indication of how they'll perform against us. We need to be sharp tonight and not take anything for granted

They've only won one of their last seven games (and that was against Kortirjk - yeah never heard of them either).

They are gash and we should be putting teams like this to the sword. No excuses.

Bundesliga is mental at the moment. Four of the bottom five have been in CL the last few years. I would say getting as competitive as the premier league (any team can beat another) - but Bayern are just too dominant there right now.

That's the problem with the Bundasliga, Bayern are romping. But it's a real shock to see Dortmund struggling as badly as they are. I thought they'd done really well to assimilate the changes from the players that they'd lost, but losing Lewandowski looks like it's really had a big impact on them.

You seem to be insinuating that I'm merely using the word 'meltdown' because I don't agree with a posters views (what views these are I don't know?).

While what I'm actually saying is, like many games one here when we've played poorly is, that the board descends into arguments from lots arguments from people with varying viewpoints and threads have to be closed, IMO a meltdown. Rather than when the team plays well, like the Burnley game and there wasn't many comments, and it was pretty quiet until one argument broke out and then it got closed.

Hardly me disagreeing with a viewpoint. I'm not directing this at one person(s) or their viewpoint(s), I'm not saying that anyone person or people are to blame. I'm just pointing out that when we play poorly in games, particularly when we scrape past a team we are expected to beat comfortably then there are loads of passionate posts on the boards that descend into the typical arguments.

That's madness! - coz I can't be bothered to look, which 4 teams are they? It's a crazy league, and I like it a lot. It's just a shame that Bayern have so much more resources than everyone else and are so much better than the rest, otherwise it would be an even crazier/better league!

That is crazy, I mean fair enough Hamburg but considering there's a few weak teams in the German prem, then you'd never expect them 4 to be in there!

Anyway back on track - Wilshere is out with sickness, I'm hoping this means that he's over his 'knock' and as soon as he gets over his sickness. This should mean he's available for Swansea.

I'd like to see Rosicky get some gametime, I think he brings a lot of enthusiasm, hard work and drive to our team.

You could argue that we've never been the same losing our last great CF Henry. I would include RVP but the man only had a season and a half with us and then pissed off. I'm convinced has we got a top quality CF in earlier then we would have won something much sooner. We've gone through so many CFs, most of which were flops or nutters that we've struggled to settle. Strangely, with Giroud, it's brought us some stability. But his level of quality is not that of our past greats.

Anderlecht arnt that bad. They would be mid table in the EPL.

The Belgian teams are getting a lot better. Lots of quality young players coming through.

Love champions league nights. Pizza, garlic bread, spaghetti carbonara and a few peronis to wash it down for a Mediterranean feel tonight!

Looking forward to the game, we should get a comfortable win and tie up qualification.

Shame Wengers gone for Monreal, but should still be enough, though would have liked to have had Rosicky in there. I hope Campbell gets a go at some soon point before Christmas as well

We're looking committed and winning the 50 50 balls, just need to speed up and switch play, though Oxo is finding space
