I'm sure we have now all seen the new kits and signings (if you haven't where the hell have you been?!) Anyway I am not greedy but i think and hope there is still more to come.

I read on Kent Sport News that we are still talking to Charlie Lee and Jason Brown said on his twitter that Hessy has spoken to his agent, so it look's we might not be done in the transfer market!

However I personally would be happier to see another forward and winger join the club. I thought we were going to sign Ashley Carew but he is now at Cambridge. <steam>

For me I would like to see the signing's of Brandy and a winger announced sometime this week. (maybe Aborah?) As I feel that we shouldn't put too much pressure on Payne this year and if he can't make the jump up to first team regular there is nobody else to fill at second striker role. Maybe it is worth going into the loan market for these two roles if we don't have too much of a budget to sign players.

So do you think we will sign anyone else this summer? If so who?

    P.S.
Did anyone else note the Flitney was wearing the away shirt and not the Goalkeepers in the photoshoot on the club's website? What colour do you think it will be? My guess is Green or Orange like last year.

Also who else is going to Ashford mid-week? I'm really looking forward to seeing the Gills back in action! (After all that was a pretty dull off season!) ;)

Hess seemed to like him. The main reason he was released was because of budget not his performance. Now that i think about it a new forward and winger could be found in the trialists.

What about Bruce 'Nintendo Innuendo' Inkango? Now when I saw him play he seemed to have the skill but looked scared to make a mistake.

only trouble with aborah and inkango would be it seems like we're going backwards. lets bring in a new face unless theres noone else out there.

what happened to those guys anyways, i thought they went back to thier native countries?

He would be a great player, straight swap for barcham I think maybe, They are of close standard, We just have to move on from Barcham well that is me that has to move on as I miss him at our club.
Do you think he is better or the same as Barcham.

The Ashford friendly is on Wed 6th July at 7.30pm and is at Homelands ground which was obviously the home of Ashford Town now known as Ashford United FC! Dont know about friendly prices but there prices for the coming season are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions :)

How about Chris Porter for the striker? Think we could afford him? He can score goals...

Chris Porter? I've never heard of him, where has he played/ what's his record like? If he commands high wages i wouldn't bank on it tbh, i think we may see a trialist or two sign and hopefully Lee aslong as the trialists impress that is!
