Think Rodgers has made a good call here to leave Gerrard and Sterling out. Sterling is way out of form and Gerrard is too slow at the moment. I look forward to this match. Rodgers has made some bad buys but these are the best players we have for this match.
That's not far off the team to be honest. I would swap Allen for Coutinho. Also (believe it or not!) I would play Balotelli rather than Lambert. Have Mario and Fabio up top

Let's assume Madrid win all 3 remaining games. A draw would be best as it would mean we win our 2 remaining games and then we are through.
Happy enough with the starting line up it's not as though anyone is in brilliant form so why not change it up. My only concern is Toure I just don't think he's good enough for this game.
Of course it does. If Basel win they get 6 points. If Basel then beat Madrid and lose to us, we all end up on 9 points and it will go down to H2H record with Basel. We'd both have won one, so will go down to GD in those games. If we want one of them to win, it'd Ludo as we've already beaten them so on the H2H we'd go through.
