Peterborough hit by two long term injuries.
From now on many clubs will start suffering from more injuries as the pitches get heavier. And soon the accumulation of yellow cards will trigger suspensions.

My advice to City players is don't get unnecessary bookings and no reckless challenges to cause self inflicted injuries.

One of the reasons we're where we are is because we haven't had any major injuries or any red cards... YET! A settled and consistent team is vital for a promotion push. Hopefully we can go the whole season with a fully fit squad!

The change of weather and heavier pitches mean that a squad of players comes into its own to cope with situations like this.

Especially true for some of the older players like Wilbs and I would urge the club to buy/get loanees in during the next Transfer Window

I was actually thinking of the other clubs with my original post. I believe we have a very good squad with perhaps only Wilbraham not having a like for like deputy.
Whereas some other clubs like Swindon, MK Dons, Peterboro for example, may not have this depth in reserve.
Also our disciplinary record is the best in the league at present so if this continues, suspensions may bother us less than others.
So for these reasons, I anticipate that our performances may be more consistent than some teams, thereby enabling us to steadily increase the gap between us and third.

The loan market is still available to us - amazing that we have no loan players at all
