If Liverpool finish 8th then Rodgers will defo get sacked. Not for the quality of the players signed. For being a fraud parading around with his book of philosophy whilst trying to blag his way through seasons.

1 - He has not got the balls to retire Gerrard to a cameo role.

2 - He has bought 2 strikers to go with the one he has at the moment. All 3 are not lone strikers yet he has decided upon a lone striker formation.

3 - He needed to replace Johnson and Mignolet desperately and didn't.

Lovren, Lallana, Balotelli are all excellent players. It is the way they are being played that is wrong.

Like I said before Toure may be the 4th best CB you have but he is the only one that can boss the defence and get them organised. Sometimes it is not about looking at sports science statistics and Carling Opta Stats.

  8. Wasn't just tonight, he did it against Swansea too. Not many of us will argue against Toure's vocal skills

Southampton were unlucky not to get a point at the EMIRATES. Is the bubble going to bust soon?.

The transfer window doesn't really work that way...

    1) The prices Saints got would not be quoted to a club like Liverpool.
    2) Clubs like Liverpool generally wait to see if a player proves themselves at a 'stepping stone' club before making a move. Wise or not this constantly happens.

bit of an issue here for the saints... a lot of teams only 6 points or less back.

I hope this becomes a two way title race (if city cna close in a bit more) ad the next 6 all fight for top 4 unitl the end. Add to that what seems to be at least 6 clubs for 3 relegation spots... well it could be a good prem this year.

hopefully the saints boys keep on coming to the board and we can have a fresh and entertaining bit of banter as the season progresses.

It is going to be good for football if Saints can finish in the top four this season. That would show that
money is not everything. Mind you, I want Liverpool in the top four too, Arsenal and Manchester United
    missing out.:emoticon-0169-dance

  19. Yep, Lovren had it coming and I did say prior to us signing that I hoped we didn't if no other reason than because he'd tried to force the move.

Still, very harsh on Lallana though.

lallana barely got a whisper really... rooney gets worse every time he comes to anfield just beacuse.. lallana's hair gel is strong enough to take it.
