Done the same as mito and gone for a brave draw Even if it does differ from the prediction league #hedgingmybets
I'll never say that I believe we'll lose in any game we go into, but stark reality - not me - would say we're getting battered here lads. Obv hope we can somehow get something out of the match and the players want to react to the last game against these and show that they're not a bunch of pushovers.
i think we can get a win dont think real will push as they have pretty much qualified already. having said that we need to play at our best and get a early goal and then just park the bus and counter attack. 1-0 couts with the goal (hope!!!).
Guys unlike anfield the bernebau will not be silent and there is and expectation to go win for the crowd there There'll be no taking it way from whomever is on the pitch 0-4 is expected. As long as none of them are thrown in by us fair enough.... But last game we threw in 2 an u10s team would be ashamed of
I can see how you'd be confident of a win at the Bernabeu after so convincingly putting away Newcastle at the weekend.........oh wait.....
I'll take that best we can hope for is a 0-0, can't score for ****, and can't defend for ****, and in between is just as much an shambles.
I'm just hoping we score. We really need to score. Other than that Lovren will play his boots off and shut down Ronaldo and Bale with his right and James, Isco and Modric with his left leg. Balotelli will score 4 before allowing Joe Allen to take over for his own hat trick. Gerrard will hobble off the bench and put in a performance so convincing in DM that Blatter himself cries tears of joy and awards him the Ballon D'or. Rossiter will also be subbed in as emergency goalkeeper, after a mishap with Lovren leaves Mignolet with a poor sense of depth and hand-eye coordination (doctors unable to tell if he's been injured or not). He scores the eighth goal as we dedicate the 8-0 win to our previous 8-0 win in the CL. Real would take a 3-0 loss now. In all seriousness we need two strikers and a decent player at DM. Can was alright vs. Real last time so I'd give him the nod with Coutinho at #10 and Hendo with Gerrard/Allen in CM.
0-0 would be a ****ing miracle mate Since 16th Sept, they've played 11 games in all comps, winning all of them and scoring 46 goals in the process!
Oh and if we could accidentally give Johnson the wrong flight number, say one going to North Korea, that would drastically improve our chances.
0-0 it is then scary stats to be honest, but then the one glimmer of hope is i remember a 0-0 against boro years ago and that was something like 30 shots to nothing, yet they got a point somehow. if they turn up with the right attitude it will be a hammering, just have to hope they think they have already qualified and we get a point somehow.
I want to make a prediction here. LFC will get about 2 frees in the opponents half each half.... we will play those short as they will be out form the box in midfield zone.... we should be loading their box on opportunities like this but we won't. I am at the point where rodgers for me is clueless about the real world practicalities of football. I do agree with danilo.. If glen johnson starts this game he'll be skinned time and again by pace. the lad can't run anymore...
Not looking forward to this one lads. If we can just give them a game and keep it close i will be happy. Credit to them one hell of a side
at least i see some realism on here have to call a spade a spade here guys. its about pride here. if we see more pussy displays where timidity and cowardice allows real to simply dominate then heads should roll. Last game... at home we got no yellow cards Away i expect to see real players rolling about diving so i'd expect one or two cheap yellows but F me... we must see some toughness and a few yellows at least. I'd rather see badontelly booked for slamming into a defender form behind trying t win it than tamely trotting round to avoid controversy like he has been doing. I'd rather see henderson off after 60mins due to being on his last warning than real walking through us. hell i'd even endure johnson coming on for manquillo cos the lads been booked for tripping ronaldo rather than letting him run. FFS... some pride. nobody wants a hammering but I think most see it coming. I gave utd credit for fronting up v cheslea and city only yesterday. LFC need to show they can front up.
Real will want to put on a show. However think as the game goes on they will take their foot off the gas. If you are in touch then who knows. Still, realistically it will finish anywhere from 3-0 to 6-0.
