Which is what we decided. A lot of what was said was in anger caused by the Cardiff fans and the whole MM saga. We dont want to remove posts or moderate in anyway if we dont have to, but none of us want to see wums causing arguements between friends.
Which is fair enough; my point was it should not even have been up for discussion, in my opinion. The same goes about the comments on the other thread regarding posts about Cardiff fans. And with respect, as a moderator, if you are feeling angry then you should refrain from posting. What you write I would suggest has to be 'whiter than white' otherwise you risk losing your ability to pass judgment on the posts of others.
Dont worry, i will keep an eye on myself from now on. I rarely get that angry, and usually if i do i just rant to someone else, but not on here.

For the record: removing a single post let alone a thread must be viewed as a totally last resort. We are not 606 we are not606. However we should remove racist, sexist or homophobic material if it is serious - it has no part to play in free speech. Our Mods are selected for tolerance of others opinions - we are not supposed to be saints nor are we expected not to have strong opinions or not to get into arguments - we have the same rights as all our posters. You only have to look at some of the ding dongs I have had with people on here but not once did I consider Modding them - it would be a total abuse. Unfortunately Mods cannot use their "ignore" button - nor can others "ignore" us but eveeryone else can - so if there is a WUM you wnat to delete - do so on your "ignore" button If someone is a WUM they will be argued down or ignored - in fact some people enjoy the banter that goes with a bit of wumming. How is this a WUM lets look at other clubs who have had takeovers Brighton one game away from the Conference now jhave a new stadium championship football and don't forget they had a million to spend on Buckley Wigan lowly div2 team worst ground in the Country taken over great new Stadium and Premiership football Fulham new owner vastly improved Stadia and an estsablished premiership team] Leicester bottom of the Championship last season get taken over suddenly they are able to get in premiership players on loan and buy one for 3 million this close season or at least offer it anyway Southampton new owner now have millions to spend on thier team We get taken over 3 best players sold Manager couldn't wait to leave no news of when we'll get a new pitch or a four sided ground. As i say what a rubbish new owner and before you say im in dream land about millionaire investors i say why am i why is it always other teams who get them?This it's WUM or let's delete it because it critical is really rather tedious or the go and support Luton or Man Utd ZZZZZ
Don't get precious gdb - most people on here do not want to delete your thread - and I welcome it - you are quite right to question waht you do and if people cannot answer your genuine points with words that is their downfall. I too cannot see why we cannot get a decent backer - we are close to London, have a proud recent history and a large catchment area. We are not much worse placed than QPR in fact if we got a good and wealthy backer
I'm not being precious im just fed up with the lets delete it it's a wum and other very nasty and personal remarks I want Watford to be the best they can play in a 4 sided stadium and on a good playing surface Have them buy players not always sell them not rely on the academy all the time
The reason myself and Norway got annoyed last night was not soley are result of the post, we questioned it because we have had the argument several times of late and it once boiled over slightly. Also the points you laid out were simply a list of bad things, no attempt to justify things. A lot of people were angry last night and in hindsight maybe a post like this was not ideally timed. But is done now and having slept on it N and I realised where we were wrong and have let things go now. We dont have a problem with people giving their views and opinions, but we might get annoyed when they pay no attention to countless previous posts on the same topic and seem to be made soley to annoy.
The Red Lion is aparently to be renamed the Red Dragon to make visiting Cardiff staff at home while they strip the rest of the team from WD18.
In truth, our mods weren't exactly 'selected'...but i know what you mean lol... They made the right decision in the end, so all is good
I don't know too much about Garry, but this guy seems to be an exact copy of him. Can't spell, negative about everything, neglects other opinions/points of view, seemingly hates Watford. Has nothing really to add to our board since he just posts one-sided rants that are often pretty difficult to understand. But still, I find it quite funny.
One of the difficult things about this site early on was we all agreed with everything - that has changed for the better
People see that the message is from don't bother reading and then call me a WUM I say read what i wrote and you'll see a number of examples of other clubs getting in new owners who invest money into team the grounds they play in or in other words are beneficial to the team they buy Can anyone say that whatisface is benificial to Watford? And what gives people the right to call someone a lowlife or a WUM i might agree with many people but they are allowed thier opinion and it doesn't make them WUM. And for the record i hated MM and i don't think he'll be in charge of Cardiff on boxing day there fans will soon tire of seeing all 11 players in the penalty area everytime there opponents get a penalty
