Anyone see the new video posted today by Bristol Sport of the steel work going in? They also showed some images of the completed redevelopment from a birdseye view and on the little screen attached to the outside of the stadium it showed a picture of Red and BLUE seats... Half red and half blue... Has someone accidently let something slip that was meant to be kept under wraps? Or am I missing something? I just don't understand why and how that image would get their in the first place when out seats are and always have been red!

This, coupled with the fact that the club are very reluctant to show any images from INSIDE the ground strikes me as being a little odd.

Might have something to do with the fact that City play in red but Bristol Rugby, who share the ground, play in blue!

I understand what you're saying but I thought the seats inside the ground were going to be red? Going by that picture most of them are blue with a bit of red at the very top... I don't want any blue at all personally and wont be happy if there is and I'd be surprised if any other City fans would be too.

It looks like a picture of wigans ground with a player in white,

I thought it has been confirmed that the seats WILL be red.

Get it up on OTIB mate as I feel this is one is for David Lloyd (I assume you have an account) and I know he visits that forum quite a bit.

Hopefully we will be expanding at the Atyeo end soon to have a well used 35,000 seater stadium.

Dave L has also said twice that the new South stand images would be out, and both times he has been wrong. He is just there as a **** screen for others.

I thought the blue issue for rugby fans was gonna be in the lighting, in that they could change the colour scheme through the lighting of the arena?

I wouldn't be happy with blue seats and surely Bristol rugby fans could understand the reasons for that! I reckon its time for a re-brand of all the Bristol sports stable to RED.!

If the seats do end up being blue then I expect the fans to go mental, and I'll be going mental with them.

That is all it is. It doesn't take much to ignite the panic in some does it. Calm down everyone.
I doubt any Bristol supporter will worry what colour the seats are as long as what happens on the pitch is good to watch. Why are we City fans getting so agitated over a computer generated picture.

It just seems strange to have a picture of another clubs ground and the seats just happen to be red and blue, so obviously fans are going to put two and two together. Why couldn't they grab a picture of sunderlands ground or any other RED seated ground in the country... Just a little odd, thats all! I still feel the communication between fans and club needs to be better regarding the stadium project.

A large part of the project is being ran by people with expertise in hotels and restaurants. Football culture and traditions are not like either.

It's part of a 3-way plan to share with Bristol Rovers as well as the egg-chasers.
