No width, no creativity ... wouldn't mind other than that seemed fairly obvious to me from that line-up before a ball was kicked - so why not to the management?

I accept that Leo might have been injured ... so why not give either Wood or Tom Lawrence a chance? ... what did Nigel expect from a sadly misfiring David Nugent? ... I know what I did ... and fair to say he delivered ... a jounrneyman performance - a few good touches but never likely to threaten the opposition net...

... and without Mahrez we lacked any real creativity ...

I don't mind us losing as long as we have a go ... and at home that does not mean flooding the midfield with similar players ... we need a ball carrier who commits defenders otherwise our play is very one dimensional ...

Finally - perhaps Leo should give crossing lessons in training ... he seems to be the only bugger who can cross the ball ...

We're all doomed. To be honest, it was a pretty poor match, and neither team deserved 3 points. MOTM for me was Foster, acted as a sweeper for them. Huge learning curve for our players and staff. Depends how quick we learn as to how and where we will finish. Still quite hopeful about our chances, but we do need to play to our strengths - which certainly isn't a diamond formation. Not expecting free flowing footie like we had last season, but I really hope we return to 4-4-2 quickly.

Basically at the minute we need Leonardo Ulloa crossing the ball and Leonardo Ulloa getting on the end of the ball.

Team was all wrong yesterday. We have to start one of Schlupp, Knockaert or Mahrez at home. Especially against West Brom for crying out loud

We start 2 wingers against Arsenal, 3 strikers against Man U and then packed the midfield against West Brom!

None of the midfielders was ever in any sort of space. The irony of the goal was all the midfielders was playing on top of each other so they was also going to get in each other's way

Wasilewski needs to remember if you don't get caught by the ref for elbowing someone you can get away with it 9 times out of 10 in the championship. Not in the prem with the millions of cameras

De Laet looked good but lacked support and Konch was shocking again

West Brom have managed to stay up this time for how many seasons? Do you really think the likes of West Brom are beneath you?

Arsenal and Manchester United give you space because their players are better than yours. They start matches thinking they will out score you. West Brom's players are slightly better then yours but not enough to make a real difference. They deny you space in midfield, encourage forays down the wings to encourage you to put men in the box so they can break on the counter. Similar to your tactics against United. If you don't match them in central mid-field they out number you and waltz through the middle of the park. If you match them you lose your width to get behind them unless you use your full backs and open yourself to a swift counter attack.

I like Pearson as a manager and it looks like he's learning how the Premier League works.

The fat lady is nowhere near singing yet. I haven't seen enough of you to say whether you'll stay up. It depends on whether your players put in the work against the "likes" of West Brom or whether they go missing and only come out when they play the big teams.

West Brom beneath us? What they hell are you on about

If you think there on par with Arsenal and Man U then your an idiot. We gave them miles too much respect while we played Arsenal and Man U with no fear. As the home team we should have looked to have attacked them alot more and been the team in the boss seat rather then trying to strangle the game out. West Brom are no better then us, both teams was poor in 2/3 of the pitch. They got a big slice of luck and got the points. We now go to Southampton where the pressure is on them. Last time we went there they was going for promotion and we was struggling and we won 2-0. Lets hope for the same

Were still learning in this league and i still think we will stay up. The owners will get the chequebook out in January to help Nigel cover any gaps and strengthen the squad

I have watched us for years and I never felt this bad when we were 1 win in 17 two years ago as a win was always round the corner and I had faith in Pearson (I never wanted him to go and I don't now as he's the best manager for us) but we can't buy a goal or a clean sheet so albeit early days, we lack quality, the only reason we have any points is because we were riding the wave following last season and te adrenaline. Now that's gone we look like a bunch of individuals and average ones at that. Even your sorry lot will be looking down on us soon

Its not all doom and gloom yet. As soon as Mahrez gets a proper run in the team and Nugent doesnt we will be fine. Konch is a danger aswell

It was you that said "West Brom for crying out loud". West Brom ain't Arsenal or Manchester United, but they know how to stay up. They pick up points by packing the midfield, stopping teams like them from playing and hitting the naïve on the break, or if you like, getting lucky. Playing wingers mean you give them the central midfield, not playing wingers means there's no space. In the bottom half of the table the aim is not to concede and to take advantage of the two or three chances you get in a match.

If you get it right you'll see a lot of 1-0 victories and the odd exciting game. The philosophy of survival in the Premier League is the same home and away. Whether it is football is another question, but money talks.

That's very characteristic of Leicester fans' early attitude this season. Repeatedly blowing their own trumpet.
    I guess they're getting a reality check <doh>

Pearson needs to discover his best team and stop changing it around all the time.

Only just seen your result boys, and i think you are doing WB a disservice.
They ar a solid Prem team and you lot are living on last years memories.
Now s when you want your more experienced players (that you dont have) to step up and steady the ship.
Forget what you did earlier in the season because you are only as good as your last game.

I think a few are geting a bit of a realit check now and realising the massive jump in ability, style and tactics that the Prem is. I reckon you'll be ok (just) but you'll be in the dogfight with the bottom 10 teams all season like us.
Just my opinon but you look like you'd probaly benifit from a bit more Prem experience in your team. We could sell you SWP and Adel if you want....

Now where has that gap gone......<laugh>

Well he is second equal top goal scorer, so long as you don't count Cambiasso's one on Saturday. We are on a bad run but can't believe the doom and gloom. This is no where near as bad as when we couldn't buy a win a year or two back. We have played a quarter of a season and not in the bottom three. We can still achieve the primary goal for the season which is remain in the division.

Bad patch atm, a few of the things that i didn't like:

Like others have said, too many midfielders of the same ilk, DD and Cambiasso came out of it looking the best (who i would start with next time), would have preferred any of Knockeart, Mahrez, Albrighton or even Schlupp over King to add something different to the midfield, and this brings me onto my next point ...

What has King done to deserve a 4 year contract recently! he had a couple of games at the start of the season where he looked better on the ball, but hes gone backwards, i could do what he was doing on saturday, find space, pickup the ball, dont move, simple pass, create nothing. Im not blaming him for the header because theres no way he could have read that deflection.

Pearson needs to decide what is best, wingers or no wingers, 1 .. 2 or 3 forwards, this team needs stability, we cant afford to "Moyes" this team, we need a bit of consistency so that we have some idea of what our players are supposed to be doing. when your bringing on Wood and Ulloa together, surely your losing the plot!

Saying all that though, i still have confidence that we can turn it around and have faith that Pearson will make the correct calls sooner rather than later.
Hes certainly not going to get sacked and i certainly wouldn't want to see him sacked either.

If we had what most of us predicted from our first 6 games (maybe 3-4 points tops), and picked up points after, we'd still be around this position with little complaint. Its just a shame we have really "brought it" to the bigger sides and crumbled in games that that were considered more "winnable".

On the contrary Grif IMO. I feel the Leicester fans (in general) have been pretty realistic in their predicitions even before a ball was kicked at the start of the season.
Most were declaring that 17th in reality, would be deemed a success and still of that mindset. Consolidation is key. Saying we are getting a reality check is nonsence.... losing games in the Premier League is no wake up call. b -b- but our 100 points were impressive werent they! <laugh>

I like how he was instantly straight back on twitter, mouthing off about his suspension. Someone really needs to get these players away from the computer and onto the training ground.
