Our super noisy support obviously showed up the home fans, Jose not a happy bunny... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29867892
Sounded like we had more than them. Unless they park the away fans under the mike for atmosphere. Was great to hear the Hoops singing throughout.
And yet more criticism from the supporters, let's hope we never go down this road... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29872408
There's a thread on it on the Chelsea board entitled "Empty Stadium". So funny hearing them admit that SB has no atmosphere.
Bias is a strange thing. My Chelsea supporting mate said they were very noisy yet all you could hear on the radio and MOTD were QPR chants. Jose knows it too!
Apart from Charlie's back heeler - one of my favorite bits of seeing it live was at half time - they brought out some veteran scum player from the 70s and had him walk around the stadilium to no applause. The qpr end sang "they don't know who he is" - very very loudly - there was no alcohol on sale so for once the away end stayed full at the half time break. Was totally embarrassing for them. Brilliant!!
Agree WL, It's great ammo for us. After all the snide remarks I have got from Chelsea fans over the years for calling them 'Plastic tourists' it gives me great pleasure to hear Jose (their god) slate them. Thanks to him I will always be able to mention this in future debates. Their club has changed so much that they don't even recognise us a rivals? This is because most of their fans have only been going 10yrs. Fans like me (40+) remember the days at school fighting them and having a good rivalry. Sadly our time in the lower divisions and their success means that the new fans don't look at us as rivals. They may be a bigger club, have more fans, more money, more success but they can keep it. We are a proper club with proper fans and money cant buy that. Ellers
It's also funny the excuses they are making now that it was a nothing game to them. They would be louder playing an Arsenal or Spurs, yeah right.
