I think the meeting's a good idea. The key would be to get the right people there. A problem is that some have lost their mojo after recent events and comments, and others that could be involved are more keen on trying to move seats in the east.

It also needs a commitment from the club, or any actions will cause friction with the existing viewers that don't want to be part of it and won't move seats.

I also think work needs to be done with the quieter fans and quieter areas. It needs to be made clear that shouting is the norm at football, not something to grumble and stare at.

I've been trying to sing that Robertson one on my own for about the last 4 home games - the guys around me just chuckle and ignore it.

Love the Diame one that got posted just after this as well.

Tbh I'm not a singer. The odd chant and sporadic outbursts of joy or frustration but mostly I'm focused on the game.

However, if some near me sings a pleasing ditty, I will smile and maybe nod, but then I'll be back to the game. I'm not ignoring you, I'm acknowledging your wit and fine humour.

The Palace fans asked me to watch them on tv, and listen out for the main group trying to sing, then notice the coach load of chubby ninjas sing something else and drum hard to drown it out. They sound loud at times on tv, but volume and atmosphere are different things and doesn't take into account microphone locations.

Boro fans said similar about theirs.

If we've got some, we all need to work together rather than compete.

The ninjas were silent at our place but they all dressed in coordinating black and had a big flag with no obvious message on so they're obviously very cool.

Any team with a drum and goal music should be laughed at and all this trying to be European stuff is bollocks. Maybe they should just sing.

Sunderland were louder than them tonight, which isn't surprising since away crowds normally are louder than home crowds but the amount people go on about Palace and their amazing support you'd think they'd be outshouting all and sundry.
