Good Morning Everyone,

Redders campaign is underway!

Unfortunately, it's more of the same!!!

Should Refearn have been expected to have done better?

Let's face it, We have not won at Cardiff for 30 years, and, having not won a league game for the last couple of months, it was always going to be difficult for a smash n grab mission.

The only thing that leaves a slightly sour note in my mouth is why Redders insisted on having his contract signed, sealed and delivered before the game?

Could it have been he was not confident of picking up a result, and it could damage his negotiation powers?

It transpires Cellino had a meeting last Thursday with Red Bull, and although both sides have declined to comment, Cellino has said that he will not be selling a majority stake in the club!

It is believed that Red Bull are very keen to buy a stake in Leeds Utd.

Maybe, its with this money that Cellino will buy Elland Road?

It is believed that Redfearn will name Huddersfield Town's number two Steve Thompson as his new assistant. The 50 year old's CV is a little sparse as he has only been in his post since June, and had been caretaker boss of Blackpool temporarily before that.

I am sure that if we don't win tomorrow and on Saturday then sniffer will be starting a sack the manager campaign.

Morning btw.

Morning Elland and all. Nothing about Saturday surprised me.Defeat was always on the cards. Players effectively playing under four different coaches / systems already this season is a nonsense. Add in totally differing training techniques under the varying coaches then how can we expect much from these lads. Unfortunately we have now reached a critical point and somehow we need to manufacture two home wins this week. The last thing we needed was more behind the scenes rumours of takeovers and investment. Maybe thats why Redders insisted on the signed contract as Im sure he'd heard the rumours same as everyone else. Tomorrow night is set to be a nervy affair. Aft this week, well have a clearer idea if these players are actually good enough

Morning Eire.

Would you say we are in a relegation fight?

Ive no doubt we are. The results dont lie. Two points or whatever from seven games is dire. Up to now Ive been making excuses, but as others have said, we've harder games coming up than this weeks so time for everyone to stand up and be counted at the club. A couple of wins could make an extraordinary difference of course. One worrying feature of our games this season is why can we only seem toppled for half a game? Is it inability of players to change tactics, is it fitness levels?

Morning all - We can make as many excuses as we like for the defeat and no wins in 7 the but the bottom line is the players are not good enough. They might be better than last seasons squad but then considering what we had last year is that a surprise?

I truly expected to see a gradual improvement as they accustomed themselves to each other but that doesn't seem to be the case. Teams are playing us, if they struggle a half time team talk does the trick and they have us sussed.

Redfearn had a slightly fortunate run while in temporary charge, I don't expect much above mid table, a shame Cellino has lied to the fans and gone quiet about buying the ground back, in all a miserable start to the week for us once again.

For the poll I voted no, reason being I would want red Bull to own us outright and Cellino clear off. We would be no better off selling the rights to Red Bull unless it meant the £11m received for Ross was going to be ploughed into proven players, not spent on paying off another 4 coaches in 12 months.

Thankfully I dont see things as bad as that but each to their own <ok>

After watching the game live out here, i am finally coming down from the ceiling, there is a mountain of work to be done, and that is in all areas and positions.
Sorry i do not accept the fact that we have not won at Cardiff in 30 yrs i think was quoted, they were as dire as us in the first half, we needed to step it up, but just tried to consolidate the play like the first half.
We play far too deep and square passing across the back four allows the opposition to get organised and compress our weak midfield, why Mowatt has to come back to receive the ball is beyond me, that just leaves another gap in the midfield that the opposition shall fill, leaving little options to pass forward, then its the big one up front, we loose the ball and back defending again, its all too familiar and predictive.
We need a creative midfield player along with a tough holding player (a Tony Currie & Vinnie Jones type) and press the opposition at least 20/30 yds or more up the park, we have approx 4 to 6 weeks to sort this or i am afraid gentlemen its a relegation dog fight for us.

Morning all. I don't think we've got anything to worry about on the relegation front. But were we to lose to both Charlton and Blackpool, I might have to think again. That said, I think we will get at least 4 points and start to kick on from there.

What's Montenegro got to do to get a game of more than a few minutes and are both our CBs available?

We've got the players to do all that WiD. All I think is required is a slight bit of tinkering by Redders.... that and getting our CBs to stop allowing on rushing forwards 20 to 40 yards without putting in a tackle. Either that or they call the central midfield to hot foot it back and get in a tackle.

Morning All

Ristac I agree with you. They've had 10 weeks to gel together and get results. The squad last year was terrible but with this string of second rate Italian league players are they any better. You can all bleat on about heroes at their last clubs or what ever but it really doesn't count to me.

I didn't want Redfearn to get the job for the simple reason he'll be got with in a couple of months.

To be honest I don't want either Celino or Red Bull in charge of the club however if I had to choose a devil, I'd have to go for Red Bull over Celino. My patience is wearing very thin with this man

Good Morningto Matt and co from a very sunny Cote de Bardsey
I would say that we are being sucked into a relegation battle we MUST win the next 2 games this will give us confidencefor future games
I would sooner own the ground if it means we get the money from red bull than let Bates have it they could call the ground what they want for me its the much lesser of the 2 evils

After watching the Cardiff game I have completely gone off Bellusci, thought he has had a bad game every time I've watched this season. He had a good first half but was pretty dire second and again at fault for at least one goal and thats not even considering their last one (which I kinda put complete blame of Silvestri for that, he never should've come for it). How people seem blind to him I don't know.

at the start of the season you were the bookies 3rd fav for relegation i dont think much has changed <ok>

Certainly no improvement in the squad and as for the manager situation its what you all knew you were getting so best you all accept it <laugh>
