    The actor , Marc Pickering, who plays the young Nucky Thompson in Boardwalk Empire is a city fan.

    Comes from Brough but lives in New York now apparently. He was interviewed recently and said he's coming back to the area for Christmas and will be going to see Hull City when he's over.

    It was a massive series so maybe he destined for big things?

    Anyone seen or heard Sinitta since the FA Cup Final when she somehow got a full page in the match programme claiming to be a Hull City fan despite never actually having been to a game?

    No big deal, i know plenty enough Manure/Liverpool fans in Hull who have never"their team play live seen a live game.

    Is that Boardwalk Empire any good?

    Looked quite boring to me, but I only read the series description which was vague at best, and I don't know anyone who's watched it.

    What's it like? Lots of naked ladies and brutal violence? Clever plotting and planning against each other? Middle aged women having affairs and murdering their husbands? The lives of a few no marks and their daily business at work in the knicker factory and down the local boozer?

    It's brilliant. Great story based on real people and events, lots of violence and nakedness, what more could you ask for?
