Tbh I thought you were talking about me.

And as you well know I only give you stick because you post nonsense about Liverpool the majority of the time.

Plus I think you enjoy the stick as it means your 'material' is making us respond.

You should just worry about the time I stop giving you stick, as it will mean you are posting positive & reasonable stuff about Liverpool. Unlikely I know...

I started the thread, and I don't think it's fundamentally childish at all. Chelsea played total anti-football at Anfield last season (did you see the stats of how much the ball was in play in the first half?) with a back six and complete roughhouse tactics. I've no compunction at all about seeing a few elbows in faces and a couple of bruised ribs.

Mourinho has never flinched from doing it when it suits him, and, as we will probably be beaten anyway, I WILL take succour from seeing The Effeminate One jumping up and down on the touch line with anger on a path, hopefully, to a coronary. As I say, no remorse whatsoever.

But, as Tobes says, it won't happen. Brendan's naïve nobility and artistic philosophy would not allow him to do it. Woy or Rafa would, even Kenny, I suspect. I certainly can't see the point of Sterling out on the wing getting a cold, Lallana trying to intricately dance through the knees and elbows of Terry and Cahill, or Coutinho threading darting through balls through a non-existent gap between their back six whilst being sliced waist high from behind by Ramires.

Brendan would rather get beat 0-3 and whigne bout not being allowed to play football, I suspect.

Tbf to Tobes he is the one who is countering my 'childish' proposition. Vigorous debate is healthy, people. God help us if we get to a sort of Smash Hits forum with an edited discussion about how we just love our favourite pop bands.

Yes other people quoting is a nuisance but it's still only like 1/10 so for every 1 piece of garbage I have to see, there's 9 I don't <ok>

<laugh> It's all about self-control, some have it, some don't.

You missed the point. The 'childish' comment was about what Lucaas pointed out earlier - not this thread <ok>

Only he didn't refer to a particular post when he made his initial comment in that thread, but don't let little things like facts get in the way of your latest bitch fest about me.

In the time of watching Liverpool I've never seen us resort to a 5-4-1 and just defend and tackle hard. Rodger certainly wouldn't play us that way and if we decide to play that way then I'll want him out. We are Liverpool, we play our game and if that gets us defeats so ****ing be it, we should never go down the route of playing negative football if it effects the entertainment side of it.

As I said, it's a game of football not life

Very noble of you. I think Mourinho is the exception to the rule though. Moot point - it won't happen. I say again though, and with complete understanding of what I'm saying and what our club stands for - I'd love it. Remember Carra's tackle on Nani? be honest: did you not laugh your rocks off? Four of them on Saturday and I'd be buzzing, whatever the result.

And here's to the Portuguese hair-stylist having a hissy fit that causes a burst blood vessel too.

You brutes!! You leave our players alone!
They are bastions of professionalism :p

Seriously though, form goes out the window when we go to Anfield.
    I expect a hard game.
