SHOUT!!! I looked closely at BALLYOLIVER last night as Venetias are coming nicely into form but I just thought he was weighted to the hilt. Well done fella!

    He's fine.

Shocking run of fallers and unseats from the yard in recent weeks!

Poor enough Derby game there...good win for Manchester City.

Not bothered about either side but Michael Oliver picked up where Phil Dowd left off last week..some shocking decisions..demonstrates how poor manu are when their 12th man can't even haul them to a victory.

I did Stick..Hazard initiated contact and then went down like a sack of spuds...wasn't even heading goalward.

I agree with Harry..the R's will stay up.

Never been to Loftus Road but love grounds in the middle of the City where you can have a beer pre game, not industrial estates.

Really like Craven Cottage, the old Highbury,Anfield,Goodison and Upton Park etc.

That was a cracking little race at Carlisle...definitely take Eduard out of that moving forward and I think if the pilots were switched over he might have won.

Never really rated Harding tbh..sorry Brian!

This Niven runner is being punted in the Huntingdon bumper - into 3s now <yikes>

2/1 for the Henderson horse feels too big though - his 3rd on debut was OK (2nd has let the form down but the 4th has won since)

Watching the game on local telly and, in spite of very biased commentary to the Reds, I've come away unbelievably frustrated with United.

LVG is struggling. Smalling was horrible. Did we have a shot on target?

As soon as he got sent off I felt bad for the rest of the team. They had no chance. The ref was abysmal. We should have been down to 9 men. Penalty's galore. Etc.

Rojo needs shooting. He's our only remaining first team centre back and he slides into a stupid tackle 35 yds from goal. He almost deserves a dislocation. Knobs. The lot of them.

Why LVG didn't buy at least 1 leader in defence this summer is beyond me. DDG and Shaw were rare high points today.

David De Gea must be looking at the team and crying himself to sleep.

Exactly how I saw it, amazed that the MOD pundits saw it so differently but I guess it was the sort of stunt Shearer would have employed! The games gone soft!

Nice winner for the boy Pauling on debut (trainer to note)

Ander Herrera is badly missed in the middle.

Di Maria is great and total class when he fancies it but he's very inconsistent and can get lost on the flanks watching the game pass by...seen him do that so many times in the big games in La Liga.

His missed interception led to their first goal.

DDG is a great shot stopper but hopeless on crosses..his waft from the free after Smalling's red card almost cost a goal...he's still a work in progress but a great prospect.

Shaw is young but I don't get the hype and he went down with cramp as well as Rooney before the end...fitness issues are obvious.

I really loved the jumping of Many Clouds in that Carlisle race. Really knew his game. On a different note I'm still getting my head around the fact that Holywell pre-race was the jolly for the Gold Cup <laugh><rofl> As potentially 'weak' looking as the staying division looks at the minute surely but surely as admirable as Holywell is, there'd need to be something dramatic happen for him to win a Gold Cup?!

Fully agree on an honest shoulder-to-shoulder barge, game has gone totally soft. Refs continually fall for these spectacular divers from the 1-metre board. When one's team is having a right old tough time and then gets cheated out of a deserved draw, that's the bloody end! On cramp, well, dunno about that. 100% fit footballers do get this often but usually in an extra-time situation. In a normal 90-minute game agree they certainly should not, maybe they should take a bit more salt in their diet? That's one for the club medics, I guess.

What a knock from Misbah...56 ball ton...great striking if nowhere near as clean as Gilchrist when he threatened the record.

Glad he only equalled it and didn't usurp my old hero Sir Viv.

Shows how crap the Aussie bowling attack is at the moment. I thought it was a bit ironic that the four off the 56th ball was really a mishit but he did get to the fifty quicker than anyone before (including Viv). There is hope for England yet!!!

You should have tried last night’s Sky offerings. Bournemouth won with a penalty that did not even have a diving degree of difficulty: their man had overplayed the ball and threw himself over the defender’s leg.

If you want real soft, you should watch La Liga. If you breathe on an opponent in Spain you are likely to get booked. Made me laugh watching 1/10 Barcelona lose at home to Celta Vigo as they spent the whole game trying to set up Messi to score a record-equalling goal rather than Suarez and Neymar just shooting when they had a sight of goal.

How many are Real Madrid going to stick on Liverpool on Tuesday night?

Does anybody know why Harry Kane – eight goals in cup competitions so far this season – does not get to start for Spurs ahead of Soldado and Adebayor? Do they have appearance clauses in their contracts that say they must start more than thirty Premier League games a season?
