Two match unbeaten run, we have a hell of a lot to do as we all know and I'm far from relaxed. Villa must be dire to have lost to such a bad performance and let's not forget that we were lucky. I'll take it though as things stand.
We were poor but you can't say Villa deserved it either, they had one shot on target! (Have we conceded the most goals from the fewest shots on target in the league?) So a draw would have been fairer probably. I don't think Kane is the answer though. Massive deflection on his free kick.
Agreed. To think we're just three points off 4th place is plain nuts. We're light years away from being anywhere near top 4 challengers. Today's result could have gone either ay and we'd realistically be looking at the bottom 6. Ironically this win won't do us any favours.

Lambert and the post-match twats were claiming that Benteke was provoked. They seemed to miss him making about three fouls and putting himself about a lot prior to that, for some reason. He was dishing it out, so they shouldn't be moaning about him getting some back.
Generous to say the least! Capoue was awful - let his man go and jogged around the park most of the time. Lamela made zero impact again.
