Kane is on the bench. ... adebayor up front. .. he better win this or his non selection of kane could become a real issue with the fans

Was joking - you said we will copy their result just before the home team (City) scored. Let's hope we don't copy that result!

I wouldn't mind 0-1. I said I wanted 0-2 but I doubt we'll get it. Both teams I feel will be nervous to commit to attack.

Soldado to get a start? I hope so.

Think starting with adebayor and soldado is either brave or insane...really seems risky to me

Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool are 4 of Villas last 5 games. I don't think we would have many points from that lot so writing Villa off would not be wise IMO.

colin we need to take some risk if we are to benefit from the skill in the team.

4-4-2? Didn't see that coming, especially without Kane in the lineup.
Who's playing on the right in this formation? Eriksen, perhaps?
At least Pochettino's trying to change things, I guess.

Agreebut would have had kane instead of either ade or sodado...his defendingfrom the front by closing down is far better than either of those imo...neither are playing well, have never really formed a good partnership and both let their heads drop way too easily for my liking

One thing I like about Pochettino is that he always seems to do what I think we should do. I get the sense of him eagerly awaiting my lineup every week in order to implement my pearls of footballing wisdom. I am at a loss, however, to explain why we've been doing so poorly.

Looks like Chadli on the left and Eriksen on the right.
Not too far away by Soldado. Quick start.

Ade and Soldado up front. Been a while since we've seen that.

Weimann allowed a free header from a corner. Poor by Naughton, though you'd question why it's him picking him up.

Mason with a lovely ball out to Rose, but his cross was awful. Massively overhit.
