All this makes you wonder why we even bothered bringing him in in the first place.

 

As the MOTD pundits regularly point out, Mourinho's attacking players are brilliant at working hard to retrieve the ball. Oscar is the best of the lot, but Costa works his nut off, Willian runs all day, Schürrle is selfless... I'm not sure whether Mourinho simply picks the right players, or makes any player of his dance to his tune, or both, but it works.

 

Aye, he has the players to pick. We drop a few players and our bones are showing - at this level. I think we're decent, but a goal or two . . . .
