Yep. Just made a post on the prem board about qpr not being whipping boys. Should have taken points from liverpool and chelsea.
It's hard to work up any enthusiasm to go to games or watch them 'other ways' given the way we're playing now. I still do though because of that eternal hope that burns in all fans that their team will suddenly consistently start to play league winning football. Apart from, or moreso/more strongly than, fans of clubs who have won the league in the last few years. Which makes it all the more crushing after last season when that was *almost* a reality. Taken my anger out on the road bike this afternoon doing some circuits and got qualifying for the US GP coming up now. Hopefully Hamilton takes another step towards the title. Off to dig up the F1 thread then I'm glad I have interests in other sports and not just football though otherwise I have a feeling I might be getting increasingly depressive.
It is depressing watching your team when they are playing poorly (whoever you support), but that's when true fans come to the fore. Yes we may moan like hell, demand managers go or players are sold/retire ( or in Johnsons case taken to the vets for an injection), but we will always support our team. Because we are fans, if we were not fans we could just walk away and support another club/sport, but we can't we just have to go through the pain and hope things improve. Just off to open the first bottle of wine a La Patrie, a half decent Merlot, to drown my sorrows. By 8.00 o'clock I suspect I will feel very optimistic about LFC winning the Prem, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, The Ashes, The World Series, the NBA title and the Shrewsbury WI cake baking competition...........I suspect I will also be very p****d
My earlier posts on that were pure irony, me being an agent provocateur to get a sense of where the land lies with our great leader. Does the tribe show signs of unrest?? Enjoy the wine. Got an Aussie Durif Shiraz for later. Couple of drops of that. Could go to this hallowe'en party but cba as it's not ****ing Hallowe'en anymore is it
Look, things are shocking enough without entering into a war of words with a Trojan Rat poster, but for those actual, real Liverpool fans who are genuinely interested, I know we'll pay over the odds for the likes of berahino and a prem defender and/or a dm, but we should pay it. We'll not buy genuine class in Jan, but we won't be in the CL next summer anyway at this rate.
Well that takes the prize for chutzpah. Your board resembled a spaghetti-western ghosttown last season (and most of this, so far).
Berahino would be a great buy but at the moment, is he better off staying or movjng to a team gaining one point per home match and zero away! Im also worried that there is no genuine progression through the youth ranks. Would rather give a hungry u21 a run at the moment than the tripe we have been playing.
No doubt you're probably joking... but he really REALLY wouldn't. You need Berahino as much as you needed Robbie Keane.
We have been doing that for months mate. At least your manager doesn't go round head butting players.

Watching that goal back, ****ing Moreno, his complete lack of control on the ball was why and how they scored. Disgrace.
I still cannot understand why none of our managers can build on a good season. The idea is to make continued progress and not to view the 2nd place as the ultimate achievement. Eh Rodgers? I've had a few so I'd better get some zzzzzzs otherwise I'll write something I might regret about our manager. Nite all.
you agree with that ****er Shearer then? that's what he said on motd and, not for the first time, he was talking through his arse. Morenos' "complete lack of control" was him stretching back to cut out the ball, which he did, but just bounced nice for the goal scorer. Shearer said he should have cleared it but I can't see how he could have cleared it with his first touch. Watch it and you'll see what the "expert" on the telly didn't
Skrtel doesn't have a clue. Moreno deffo could have done better but he was stretching to reach that ball and one his weaker foot. The fundamental error was from Lovren - who was out of position and trying to occupy a position to prevent a cut back, a position which Moreno already had covered.
