There is still an intermittent fault that stops you accessing the site and throws up an Error:504 message, Mick is aware of it and is working to sort it.
Ah right. I was aware of the 502 issue, what's a 504 and why would it be specific to one user and just part of the site?
I've been thinking about my 'lock-out'....... Last week, on the recommendation of a poster on here, I ran Junkware Removal Tool (JRT). After that my browser (Chrome) didn't work. I discovered IE had been damaged (by JRT?). I did a restore to a fortnight previous, re-installed Chrome. Then, thinking that my security wasn't up to par, I downloaded Avast (and then un-installed Avira). Avast got to work and ran a root-check which threw up quite a few malware items. I've since downloaded Malwarebytes and run that too. All was OK until I booted up my laptop on Saturday morning - no access to not606! I assumed a mod/the mods had banned my access as an aftermath to removing my posts from the 'Lest We Forget' thread. Seems I was wrong, obviously.
