Apparently Watford are going to be featured on BBC at 12.10 today - they mentioned the 4 managers in 37 days on breakfast TV this morning
Did anyone see it? Holloway certainly gave the officials a right ear bashing! Bit of banter with some in the East stand.
Yes Mark I did see it. As my fellow French resident said, " what a joke, they've only got one story and they recycle it. No comment on how the group of players play. Is this a sport show? " They only wanted to talk about the changes in coaches.
Yes, it is a 'show'. As everything seems to be on the BBC these days. Does anybody else remember 'programmes'? I think the Football League SHOW is yet another fine example of this. There used to be a time when the Muppets could only be found on ITV on Saturday late afternoons. Now they're everywhere thanks to poor leadership in the Beeb over the last couple of decades.
Did Troy really say thats not a free kick as hollowhead claims? Looks like he was claiming rightfully the foul, maybe he was shrugging his shoulders as it wasn't a free kick, it was a PENALTY you hollowheaded imbecile and your player should have been off the park!
Why do the press give managers like Hollowhead the oxygen of publicity. Your analysis is spot on Mark. I also happen the think that Millwall were lucky not to have had at least one of their players sent off. Fuller could easily have got a second yellow for his kick out at Pudil.
Troy and two or three other of our players are clearly claiming the foul - and probably asking for a penalty - it is hard to imagine what Hollowhead sees
I loved his interview on the Lions player. Looks thoroughly depressed and positively upset.... great!!
He is still a twit, but seems he has noticed that the Vic is changing. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11575746.AUDIO___Well_done_to_Watford_/
I get the feeling he may have had some conversations with our owners in the past few months that whilst not leading to an employment offer lead to an understanding of what we're about. Now he knows where we're going I'm guessing he's not going to burn a potential future bridge... heaven forbid!
Yes, he's often a pillock, but watch this video from 2mins24seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq7ch_LRcks There is some humility in there it seems...
That said, in his next match: Boss Ian Holloway was sent off for complaining in his sideâs 2-2 draw between his Millwall and Blackburn.
He got sent off...then Millwall improved and scored 2 goals! I understand the Blackburn manager was trying to say sorry and actually agree with him that the red card Millwall got was harsh but Holloway got in such a state he reacted badly.
