Just an outside shot.......could he get called to the squad?

If Lambert can get a few caps, could Charlie?
If he continues this form into the new year I say yay.....

Way too early to say. Would be great to have a Ranger lead the line for England though.

He and Berahino have both got to be in line for a call up, they are both young and the in form English strikers at the moment, just depends if they can keep it up!

Hope not, we need him focused on keeping us up.

Plus would have thought he would need to keep this up for a season or more !!

Strikers feed off confidence usually, a call up would be a good thing for him and us.

I mentioned on a thread yesterday that if he keeps scoring he might just get a try-out, who knows? He's a striker and he's scoring at the top level, he can't do much more...

As much as I like Austin, he's not an International player. At least not yet.

    But then, nor is Lambert.

Austin should be picked ahead of Lambert.

The last thing you need is Hodgson & the squad getting in Charlies ear about a mover to a big club. I wouldn't want him anywhere near that crowd.

Certainly on current form good enough ... As you know I think the England set up is useless anyway

Easy to see it as a good thing. Sell him for 10 million more than he's worth to a big club, get a better player to replace him, and laugh as it slowly dawns on the plastics that he's not as good as they thought.:D

Get near 20 goals this season Charlie, keep us up...and then it might be a possibility

I don't know about England but we are 10 games in and he has 5 goals. That is heading towards the 20 goal per season mark on average. Given that possibility, the spirit the team is playing with and the improving home record, it is just beginning to feel that we have our Rangers back - at last!

If he maintains this form up to Christmas, how many suitors will he have in January?
