Thought Soton took the piss today – the difference in class was significant. That said, we’re building and we can take and learn from these not altogether unexpected hits.

Fair assessment, though a draw would have been a fair result IMO, though have to admit you were the better side today.
This situation is weird. Very weird! I can only get on to this thread - not the whole board - and I can send/receive PMs. Other than that - as I told Dutch, I get a '504 error' when I try and log into the site. (It made me think the bazzies had banned me.....)
I've asked on the mod board in case anyone's had this before. Have you tried clearing your cache and history?

Yeah, Dutch - I've done all that. Run CCleaner etc. I've an old Mac G4 so I'll try that later. It should show whether it's a gremlin in my PC laptop (although I can access threads - if I can find 'em! - and other club boards), or whether it's a router problem. If all else fails, I'll try my ISP tomorrow.
Well now - there's a mystery here! I can access the board from my old, lumbering Mac. So the problem must lie with my laptop, but just what it is, I haven't a clue.
Dunno what the problem was, Bob - but it seems sorted now. Fired up the Mac, accessed the forum, copied the link and sent it to myself (from one email account to another). Opened the email on my laptop, opened the link and......it seems to work.
