Hopefully finally shut all the doubters up now after yet another fine performance. Easily our best keeper, should be our number one.
Every 3 games... He dealt with it reasonably well afterwards and made two good saves but let's put to bed this nonsense about him being judged on just one game against Sheffield Wednesday now.
No way was the backpass to blame. He got there first by a long way. McGregor would have dealt with it and Harper would have put it in the stand. To sidefoot it up the middle of the pitch was farcical.
I'll have to see it again. It looked like he was put under pressure from where I was sitting, but he should've dealt with it better.
The backpass was ****. Jak didn't get it away well, but the backpasser (don't know who it was because I was watching on a dodgy Turkish stream) at least shares the blame.
What clanger? That was Brady's fault for passing to him and Diame's fault for not closing down in milliseconds. And his other 'clanger' shortly after where Long really had to score that header, that was all 10 outfield players adult for letting Long be played in, not the Jaks fault for misjudging Longs momentum then for some reason deciding to stop halfway leaving him no chance to cut Long off from the goal or make a save. Not Eldins fault, it was a majestic performance and we're very lucky to have such a calm, steady keeper of his quality.
It wasn't the best back pass in the world, but it had enough on it. You'd expect your keeper to be able to kick it further than 20 yards and higher than 5!
I missed it waiting behind people who don't know how to use self service checkouts in the supermarket.
That goal was definitely down to Brady, he never put enough on it. Jak came out and did what he could but he had a player closing him down. It was a good controlled finish by their player, fair do's. Watch MoTD tonight and you'll see.
Only if our opponents had sent forth an army of Daleks would they have beaten him please log in to view this image
It was a poor backpass with an equally poor clearance with his weak left foot. Didn't have time to let the ball run across his body onto his favoured right foot, but should have still cleared it just one of those things. Looked nervy afterwards, but made 2 decent saves. All of our keepers are prone to errors.
Not the best pass from Brady... but it was good enough. Jak got there, he just kicked it awfully. Jak's at fault. Doesn't matter how much pressure he was under at all. Fact is he got there first and didn't sort the problem out properly. He swings his boot a couple of inches lower and that ball goes higher. As Hat mentioned above he pulled out of another 'save' late on as well. I just don't think he wants to get his hands dirty and for his decent shot stopping, when there are bodies in the box he strikes me as a bit of a pussy. Time and time again. Does he bottle the 'winnable' games?
It was difficult to tell on my dodgy stream, but it looked like his clearance passed two city players who could have collected to ball. I think it was an accumulation of errors and a bit harsh to blame the keeper. Will have to make my mind up properly during MOTD.
Does anyone remember the moment where he came for the ball, then decided not to. Chester had left it and thankfully the striker headed it over?
Anyone blaming Brady is a real plonker. It was a terrible clearance. However, we didn't create one clear cut opportunity. They did, so they deserved to win. Next game
