For all everton's domination they have not threatened our goal that much. mind you we have not had a single shot on target... It's one of them games from our two ex captains that its more important not to lose than it is to win and that has made it into a **** game....

A very very lucky point imo. Lukaku should have had two, and we were absolutely awful. Defensively we looked quite organised though which is a big plus. Gomis did the job asked of him too but it was always diffiuclt with 10 men. Montero and Routledge both completely inneffective. Shelvey needs counselling - he's either emotionally disturbed or just plain old fashioned thick.
Good point but ...... I'm getting really confused. We beat a strong Everton side 3 - 0 at home are 3 places above them in the league and we go away and park the bus. Little attempt to play football until Shelvey got himself sent off. Great point but .......

What would you expect? We have never beat them. A point was best case scenario today and we got it. I'd argue that 95% of fans would have backed Everton to win if push came to shove. Job done as far as I'm concerned.

As I said above ... we'd not beaten Man U either. That was like a league 2 side playing for a replay in a cup game.
Look at it another way - most other Prem teams would have got a battering today as Everton played well. But they couldn't break us down and we got a very well-deserved point for a resilient display. Well done us.
