Playing fairly well, we've been shooting from all over the place! Burnleys energy has kept them in it so far, making up just enough ground and getting in just enough blocks to stop us going up. A few of the deflections were very fortunate not to be goals. We need to go up a gear in the second half and we will get the three points.
Much better tempo, just need to finish better! Without doubt Alexis best player on the field and a much better performance by Oxo today so far. Blatant handball by Boyd should have given us at least a penalty and possible 2nd Yellow and a sending off. Good first half, just need to find that first goal.
Feeling confident we will go on to win today, several players look really up for it and despite not finding the net in the first half I think we will get more than one goal in the second.
Really happy with that performance. On any other day that Boyd hand ball would be given and we'd probably go on to score a few more. Welbeck really needs a goal though, his efforts seem quite desperate.
14 chances, 71% possession, 7 corners, multiple blocked shots and a red card that never happened. Pretty dominant performance so far, just need to push it over the line with a goal. I think once we get one they will start to fall apart and we will go on to score more.
Welbeck has been pretty non-existent as an attacking threat. He's doing the work of a midfielder/winger half of the time which is leaving gaps upfront.
