which keeper for this season???

steve ever dependable but as interesting as steve davis harper?
tim i'm not dim but do make the odd error krul?
fraser i'm massive me foster?

me i'd hoy foster in from day one and see if he is that good, forums on the old 606 from norwich and the hoops were all desperate to have him,

Krul or Harper.

 

Krul. Forster isn't that amazing at SPL level.

 

Judge after pre-season where all 3 should have had a run out.

At current I would say Harper/Krul and then loan Forster to Norwich to see if he can cut the PL.

 

Harper, loan out Krul

 

Harper's as no1 for one last season, I'd like Krul to have another year of fighting for his place and working hard and learning, Harper's experience on the pitch will be important next season and he's still about Krul's level, Krul is a slightly better shot stopper though.

 

Krul has better positioning, quicker instincts, he's a better shot stopper, all he needs to work on is his timing when kicking and catching at times.

He's far too promising to be let out on loan. He and Harper should fight for the place. Forster deserves a chance to show what he's got to show what he's got pre-season, but just because he's been loaned out twice now, and Krul hasn't, doesn't mean we should feel sorry for him and send Krul out on loan this season instead of him.

the point of sending Krul out on loan would be to give him a season as first choice .

I dont think he's got enough experience to be thrown in at no.1 yet

 

Who says Harper was first choice last season? Both keepers played around the same amount of games, neither showed 100% consistency, however both played well at times when the rest of the team played ****e.

Krul earned us some points with some excellent saves and confidence in his abilities. Harper saved us from some humiliations and also made some great saves to keep the scores in our favour.

Forster should be loaned to a PL club, Krul should fight for his place here, as i believe he'd just be too much of a loss. I think if he lives up to his expectation, other clubs will be interested, and if we sent him out on loan he'll hand in a transfer request when he comes back, i'd put money on it, and i don't blame him. At his best he's much better than Harper, and has proven he can do the business in the PL and International level.
