After getting this email today.... Whats the deal here, is 606 down the ****ter? Will this place step up and be the forum it can be in its absence or will it have a burst of new members at first only to fizzle out to be dire and boring again?
Who knows Frank? It's the sites biggest chance to make something of itself after all Micks hard work... ...probably the latter though this part of the email broke my heart though
Posted the thread on my work pc and when it went to load the page it was filtered. So can only view most pages on this site from my phone and I'll bet many will be the same. If you've to meet any demand Mick you'll have to sort that out. It has to be safe for work otherwise it'll end up with the same 5 Frankie Boyle wannabes telling **** jokes about **** and ****ing over and over again.
I don't think it needs over moderation but some admin will be needed. Their tasks would be outlined by Mick and go by a set of rules that are agreed by the guys who have been using the forum in the last 6 months. A thankless task that'll take up time so god help whoever goes for it. Should be more than one admin though, probably about 4 or 5 to cover it. Ideally you'd want to find a fat wee gimp with no life, no job and a liking for ready made curries to do the bulk of it
