A JPF report - the mind boggles!!!

We really just need new players - please please don't make it more complicated to add up the scores lol

 

yeah, that's a good idea, double points or something for away wins, or triple points if you have two results correct in a row.
negative points if you are more than two goals out on a result.

My plan was to create a European Competition. The top 10 players from our board after next month would be added, and then I want 2 from the Swansea board, 2 from the Mackem board, 2 from the Liverpool board (or, if that doesn't work out, a random assortment). 4 groups of 4, the top 2 qualify for the quarters etc etc...

Basically, this doesn't change your life at all, except you'll have some new players ensared for the third division (which they don't even know they've entered... mwahahahahahaha...) and I'll do the European league (suppose I should help out at some point)...?

Not sure I can get my head round it at the min after just spending an hour on a Friday night being treated like **** on the phone by the ****test phone company in the world who still haven't sorted out an internet fault that has been going on for 3 months and have today taken £50 out of my bank, in addition to my normal bill, to pay for them not fixing it!! I'm having to take deep breaths just to stop me from doing a Mr T and lobbing every bit of TalkTalk equipment in the bin.

I just found out O2 have decided they want to take £104 this month instead of the agreed £27... When I have used my phone about twice this month.

Seriously. Let's just get 'em

 

They're all a bunch of rip-off merchants. They charged me £50 call out for an engineer even after promising there would be no charge. The engineer told me my router was faulty. I phoned up technical support and they said they couldn't change my router cos here was no proof there was anything wrong with it. When I told them what the engineer had said to me they told me I was wrong!! I was ****ing here - they weren't! Anyway, I asked them to send me a copy of the engineer's report. They said no problem, but i have to pay £10 postage cost up front! £10 ****ing postage. I've had three ****ing months of this.

 

I left TalkTalk for exactly the same thing. Rip off merchants.

 

When they said it would be another £10 to get proof of what the engineer said I swear I thought my head was about to explode. ****ing thieving bastards.

 

It's changed already!!!

That wasn't even two hours and the rules have changed

 

TalkTalk are the worst company my dad has ever dealt with. I believe he was with Tiscali when TalkTalk bought it out, so he was "switched over" in-company. He subsequently got double-billed from them for about 6 months. He rang up, for hours waiting to get through to someone each month, to explain that Tiscali IS TALKTALK and he didn't particularly appreciate being double-billed, and each month some droid would say "don't worry, it's sorted"... And then next month, wam... double-bill.

The next trick was the best of all though... "we'll give you an upgrade for free". They charged my dad for the engineer (fat guy with ill-fitting trousers and with a laptop from 2003) coming out and installing what essentially was a turd with flashing lights. "oh, this is so much faster"... Errr, no it ****ing isn't mate. I tried it on my phone and within seconds it had lost connection. "Jussss the tech slow to pick it up seee", he said as he pissed off. It took me hours to get onto ****ing google for the entire time we had that "upgrade".

Honestly, with all the stress of all the other various facets of life, having to deal with the orangutans employed by Talktalk really is unnecessary. I suggest you tell them to **** off and get a new provider mate. We're with BT, and we haven't had a problem yet, although I just know they'll be arses at some point.

I still don't understand it. Do they post in the other thread or the original, and who qualifies for the European one?

 

So they can post in either (so the banned Mackems can join to... see, smart ...).

Basically, anybody who joins who is not a Newcastle fans qualifies, regardless. Depending on numbers signed up before December, I will declare how many of our lot qualify (if 6 others sign up, then 10 of us will qualify, if 8 others sign up, 8 of us will qualify... if **** loads join, I will recalculate from 16 in the groups (4 groups of 4) to 20 (4 groups of 5).

There will be groups (of player vs player weekend score), then quarters, then semis, then final.

All the while, you add the new players to our lower leagues! We already have a new sign up, so boom. I'm a genius!

 

I have to hand it to you, there is definitely genius hidden within the madness!

So is it only at the end of November that people qualify, or will it be a monthly thing?

 

Obviously, our lot are awarded places based on league position!
