If they asked for his passport. He could have lied and said he didn't have a passport... or that he didn't know where it was. I've heard that some British citizens say similar things when they get American citizenship about their British passports. So that they don't have to turn them in. (Technically in the eyes of Britain and rest of the world you stay a citizen of UK- but in the eyes of America you're not really a dual citizen).
In this day and age, it wouldn't be hard to check to see if someone was lying. As for not knowing where it is, I wouldn't imagine that's a good enough excuse.

there's PLENTY of yanks with dual passports.... I've seen some of them... they collect em like sweeties.
I put it here for you since you love the French and this is the "I'm RHC, look at me" thread you sphincter muncher!
Picked up a partial ban at the Cheese on Saturday morning. I was in there on Friday night and Fiona kept dragging me outside for a 'chat'. She asked if we could go back to mine and I said it wasn't possible as Vic knew we were chatting. 3 times we went in and out. I went back in the third time and Vic said she was going home to make a couple of joints. She hardly ever leaves the alehouse before me Ange Stanton then started to infer there was something going on with me and Fi. She told me that Vic idolised me etc, etc. Ange is a poisonous bitch anyway, so I lost my rag. I was in the process of telling her to **** off, as it wasn't any of her business. On cue, Denice walked over and asked me where Vic was so I told her she could **** off an'all. I did apologise immediately, but she wasn't having any. When I walked in on Saturday at 11.30 am, I didn't half get a toungue-lashing. I'm now banned from going in before 12.00 noon any day, so no more ciggies at the bar
A pre-noon ban? What time do you normally get in there or do you stay over night? Is it more of a 'out at midnight' ban?
Saturdays , Sundays and days off, I normally go in at about 11.00 am to enjoy a *** and a pint at the bar prior to official opening time
It depends if we're playing. If not, I normally go home at about 2, or go and see the girl(s). If there's an early KO, I go to the Grange to watch and then go home and go out again about 7 for a couple of hours. or so. Late KO and I go home, go out again for the match and then go back to the Cheese for a few.
Sounds like she's made her mind up she's going to have a fling... trying you now... wouldn't be surprised if she ropes someone else if you resist. Sounds like that couple is doomed.
