Apologize for what? My beef with you is when you call other posters thick or stupid for not sharing your opinion mate.

    I'm sorry for nothing!

I've just spoken to Mr Nothing and he neither wants or needs your sympathy although he did say that rep is welcome and keep up the good work on the music thread! ;)

(sorry mate, not seen you angry before so thought I'd feebly try and lighten things up)

The entrenched positions are on both sides (and I include myself in this).

The bottom line is surely that this whole Taarabt / Redknapp saga is mindnumbingly dull.

Your posts really do get more and more stupid as this goes on...

You call people idiots for commenting on a report and believing what Harry says..THEN 1 poster mentions that Harry spoke to Adel and you suddenly take it as gospel..WTF ?
You Hate Hary with a passion and tell us all never to believe what he says, now you are telling us to believe him..<doh>
    Make your mind up pal..<ok>

It saddens me that someone who supposedly supports QPR did not make a singe positive posts during the game or on the "well done" threads afterwards, but as soon as Adel ( a player who hasnt done anything for anyone for 3 years-except take the piss out of us and slate us) you get on your high horse.
Id rather be posting about the players who went out and put a shift in and go us 3 points against Villa, than a fat unproffesional spoilt kid, who ha had countless chances and 10 games into a eason still cant be arsed to get himeself into shape to represent a club he is lucky to be at!!!

Again, because I dont think you have the intelligence to undestand it, no body ever doubted Adels ability. Its his application that is the problem. Do you understand <doh>?

Well i'm lucky enough to have a season ticket so I was at the game and then went out for a beer afterwards so sorry you missed me during the game but nice to know you care.

As for posting positives I stuck up for Austin. He's quality and a match winner. Something which Rangers fans seem to have an aversion to.

As for wanting to talk about the positives and not a needless Adel thread I suppose as your such a clever clogs your saying that tongue in cheek. Because obviously what I said since my first post on this thread, "it's a non-story!!!" so there shouldn't be a thread. Of course tho the bait to attack Adel couldn't be resisted all I did was point out how daft that was.

Understand though it must be annoying for you that I was proved right

    Ok,

So for me this will be my last ever post on any thread about our Adel.

My main frustration about these many Adel threads is there just seems to be no middle ground. People get really emotional about their stance on him and you get pigeon holed into two groups, Adel haters or Adel worshipers.

I don't want anyone to fail in life, I just don't get any kicks out of this and trust me, it's just not my style.

As I have posted in this thread I want this sorry saga to have a happy ending with our Adel being picked every week and showing the world what we all know he is very capable of doing.

It's also very well documented that Taarabt is not the sharpest (like me,lol) tool in the box and despite his evident skills he needs to work hard and earn his right to be picked.

Peter, I will say sorry to you. I have not joined this forum to start a fight with anyone. I think you are a very good poster and very often agree with your well balanced posts on many things QPR related. I just took issue with your put downs of anyone here who disagrees with you mate.

I will put my hands up and say that I'm not an expert on anything in football or in life.

In future if we disagree then lets just do it without pissing other forum members off.

We are all QPR here so lets put this behind us and all agree on this,

    COME ON U RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRsss!

    Peace!

Fair enough, I was just being a wind up merchant because I thought this was a non-story and wanted to show that up. I was wrong to generalise you within the group, that want Adel to fail for various reasons.

As for the apology, not accepted because it's not needed. I was just having a bit of a joke meaning it more as an apology to Adel not to me.

Same as you i'm QPR and all my motivation is about the club and what's best for it

I get where you are coming from mate. I love Adel and would love him to reach his potential. I just can't ever see it happening any more. I will be spending my time supporting the eleven players on the pitch fighting week in week out. If he is in that eleven or around that eleven, then good. If not he loss not mine

Now i am completely confused as is everybody else

SO..are you saying we should believe Harry or not?..Just so we all know, because your endless excuses and efence of a player who has trested you and your club like s**t are getting laughable......
Many others were at the game and have commented positively? are you his dad or something because ive never seen anyone defend a "wrong un" with as much vigour as you.
Why do Rangers fans have an aversion to a match winner / WTF did you make that up? Are you saying that EVERBODY except you dislikes Charlie, Vargas, Bobby, green, Adel or anyone else that has helped us win games in the past? are you still drunk?

please feel free to comment on your own views regarding players, but dont put words into my mouth and then try and slate me for them. i t just makes you look simple. You would have as much luck talking to yourself in the mirror (Unless you are Cerny and have 3 diffrent accounts on here)?

I must be great to be right all the time eh? well done, have a gold star..i think. <ok>

In simple terms Taarabt gives me faith in QPR football because he is brilliant to watch . I love watching the players afterall it's them that play the game

I see no point in picking on them as the modern day fan seems to do

The manager who picks the team and applys the formation and tactics has to face complete criticism as and when

In our case we also have to face and apply our faith using the things we are told by a real mess of the media ... Combine that with Harold's spin and the way he is you have a lot to consider

We currently have a doom culture about players at QPR what beats that ?

    Faith

There you go. And it's the reason I am very close to not caring anymore. At any moment any one of Redknapp, Fernandes, Taarabt, Ferdinand or Barton can say or do something to embarrass us further, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the others weigh in with some cretinous comment, just to keep their neanderthal faces in the public eye. All rapidly followed by the polarized 'response' on here.

Nice one Tony, you have created something genuinely akin to a low grade soap opera, every f**ing day has to have a vapid 'cliffhanger' ending, just to suck the mug punters back in tomorrow "will Adel really ever play for the club again?", "How long can Tony hang on by making promises he can't deliver on?", "Will Rio's casual sexism result in a punch to the face?". Years ago, when launching the Daily Star, Derek Jamieson its editor said he wanted it to be "all tits, bums and QPR". We've finally arrived. We are genuinely a part of the Tune Group - cheap, tacky, populist s**t for those with no interest in quality or dignity - Tony's speciality.

Trouble is I don't watch soap operas or read the Star. I like quality. and think dignity is the most underrated virtue. A few weeks ago I commented that I didn't see what the moral in this story was. I do now.

"Be careful what you wish for"

We still have the shirt and the name to cling to. Blind optimism is great, anger equally so - both show you care. I am drifting into the unforgiveable purgatory known as apathy. Or, in the immortal words of Derek Smalls, I sit 'between fire and ice - like lukewarm water'.

I sense that your support for Tony is on the wane.
I am getting that way too, but I'm not quite there yet.

I made a mistake Col. There's less to him than meets the eye, he's just a populist who thinks he can please all of the people all of the time. As we all know you can't, populists can never deliver long term, all end up unpopular. He promised something that I thought I wanted, but I've changed my mind, the price is too high and the reward was never worth it.

    Excellent post.

Even the hoops have thinned out under Fernandes.
