Royale looks good for that stick , scotswell followed royal home some time back and a return to sedgefield could well aid in a return to form and I would not be suprised if scot followes royal home again at a big 14s

    2:00 Sedge - Sam Lord 12/1

Back down to last winning mark and excellent course form with 3 wins, 3 seconds from 7 visits makes this a cracking eway bet in my opinion.

Cheers chaps. Certainly did it very cosily.

If any of you get a chance I would be interested to hear thoughts on the ride given to AFICIONADO in the 2:00 Sedgefield

Absolute swaggering ride from Shane Kelly on Princes' Trust at Lingfield there. Tons in hand and cocky as you like.

Just had a look for you Stick - I would say that is a horse worth following when money shows up for it. It travelled very well and the jockey had more horse than he would have liked underneath at some stage as it was clear today was not the day. I feel he would have been happy to see others pull clear as would not have wanted to continue travelling like that with everything else pushing away. As it was he could genuinely say that once he realised the horse had no chance with the leading pair he did not want to give the horse a hard race on his return to the track. I think this is a genuine explanation and I do not feel were he to have ridden for everything he would have got near the winner and runner up today. What is clear is that a horse that can travel that well and is only 4 years old has not reached the mark he will eventually have.

    What were your observations?

On another note over at Lingfield Hidden Gold must be very useful as was given a poor ride by racing wide, making ground up mid race to yet still race wide, and still managed to win with authority.

Backed Top Diktat this morning in the 6:30 at Kempton got 50s which I thought was a huge price for this horse and can't understand why it's so big and well worth an EW play

    Also like

    7:00 Kempton - Jenny Sparks 14/1
    8:00 Kempton - Black Truffle 9/1

    Both EW
