Gradel and Pearson didn't get on. Leeds aren't looking to sell him. He isn't looking to go, though if we did accept an offer, I doubt he'd be willing to move to another Championship club (even omnipotent West Ham).
My point was that you should wait to see what attacking players we do sign before complaining about them and you should wait to see how McKenna and Adebola perform for us before saying they are poor signings. Personally, I think McKenna is direct replacement for Ash, it's a position we needed to fill and he's also captain material, I have mates who support Forest who said the season before last he was their best player. I think there were better options available than Adebola, but NP obviously thinks otherwise and until I've seen what he does for us, I'm not going to pass judgement. You're entitled to your opinion of course, I just think you're prejudging two players that you actually know very little about.
Got to give the players time like OLM says, even then you see fans on here judging them after a few months which is a bit out of order sometimes.
I dont doubt Mckenna is a good player and is Ash's replacement. But surely Evans is that player too and i would rather he plays there.
McKenna's not going to replace Evans, he's going to replace Harper so Evans can move further forward, would you rather have Harper?
Could be the end of Harper unless Koren goes, that will make some people on here happy though I feel a bit sorry for the lad, bit of a scapegoat for some!
I'd rather have the other two although I feel sorry for Harper who is a bit hard done by in my opinion
He may play all 3 in a 4-3-3 formation, who knows. I would get shot of Harper but dont think NP will unless you know something? As we are agreed then he wanted Danns so it would have been Danns and Mckenna in the centre what would have happened to Evans then?
If we go with the three man midfield I think it will be Evans, McKenna and Koren, so Harper would miss out anyway. We needed a defensive midfielder after Ash left and neither Evans nor Harper were good at filling that role and Chester is wasted there too, in my opinion. We'll have to wait and see how NP sets the team up, but Evans looked better in a more forward role and can chip in with some goals, I think he's in a different class to Harper, so will start ahead of him.
I always prefer 4-4-2 but that isnt too bad. But the three up front doesnt work until Stewart gets back for me. Fryatt down the middle, but neither Simpson or Mclean are good out wide.
Please we are having a good discussion about football, whereas you just seem to want to keep being the man with the most posts on here without actually contributing to the debate.
What's wrong with my suggestion of a 3-6-1? I don't think it's your decision to decide if I'm being serious or not.
Look how Erik just made two posts rather than editing the previous one in a cynical attempt to boost his post count. We all know what you're doing Erik.
It's called irony, Donald. Or sarcasm. I was hoping he'd notice that, but you've ruined the test anyway.
