I reckon this will be a good game, i would happily take the draw now, for me even though we have won 9 of our last 10 i would be over the moon with a top 8 finish which isn't to far away from where i see you guys finishing so to get a draw away to one of our rivals would be a good result.
Morning all. Just started a match threaed on the Saints Board so feel free to pop over. Should be a cracking match Saturday. I'm hoping for a Saints win but concerned a tough game last night may take its toll.

Think this is going to be a really entertaining game. I've a lot of time for Hull and Steve Bruce too - you're kinda like us in that you're constantly patronised by the media (and 'big' clubs) whilst actually just getting on with your job and being quite good. Going to be a tough game. It'll be interesting if Mane is fit whether Long gets to play. If it's Mane/Tadic wide it tends to reduce Tadic's influence as he's predominantly then on the right side, but gives you the extra issue of Mane's pace and trickery. If it's Long/Tadic, then you'll need to really watch out for Tadic as he's in his 'better' position on the left, but then Long isn't as effective (yet) as Mane. Either way, hope you guys have a cracking season bar the two games against us. How's Gastón been looking? Lightweight?

Spot on assessment of Gaston some nice touches but constantly pushed off the ball particularly at the Arsenal.
Thanks for the input on Tadic. I agree with you that he looks more effective on the left. Haven't been at all impressed with Gaston to be honest. Surprised he gets as much playing time...albeit as a sub. Looks slow and definitely lightweight and his passing and decision-making on the breaks has been atrocious. You lot are one of my favourite teams and Koeman has done a brilliant job bringing in new players and getting the defence to gell. You deserve to be up where you are. Going to be a very interesting game as our back line is excellent and hopefully can shut down Pelle who is class. Looks like a 1-1 to me. Good luck the rest of the season...hope you crack the Top-4.
