If she did, then sorry to hear that. However it doesn't excuse you laying in to people for expressing an opinion. That's still acting like an arse, but then you have a fine track record of just that. You're aware that TSS and Fran (amongst others) have also expressed a niggling concern about Forster too. They're allowed that opinion though, right? Just so I'm clear.
I think perhaps you should leave the forum for this evening CBK. You've managed to misunderstand two posters on this thread in quick succession, and insulted them for their views.
One pundit (after the Stoke game) referred to us as the Southampton Juggernaut. Pretty sure they know we are a good team, but it is quite reasonable to wonder how long we can carry on without at least a little blip. Even Koeman must be wondering that.
If it helps I am not overly assured by him on corners however that may be more down to Keoman's tactics defendin corners than Fraser himself. All teams try to block the keeper these days and it seems Clyne is the man this season to try and stop the blocker blocking. Who was it last year? Did we even assign a blocker blockerer last season? I think Fraser dived late today because he thought there would be a block and deflection which never happened. The only other even other than crosses/corners was the not given penalty against Fletcher where he seemed to come off his line very late. I think Boruc would've got to that way before Fletcher. Overall I think he has done well though. Its hard to tell with such a good defence in front of him, after all the best keepers in the world don't play for teams where they get as much opportunity to shine do they?
Tonight we should be rejoicing about a great, hard fought win, yet I have already been on two forums where posters are criticising individual players without actually being there or seeing the game, we can hold an inquest later but can we not be allowed to enjoy success without childish scrapping?
He was fuming at Lee Mason about the Stoke challenges that were getting unpunished. He probably voiced an 'imaginary yellow or red'. I'm off to read the oatcake forum to laugh at how blind they all are.
It's a difficult one for him and I certainly think he's a good keeper, I'm just not convinced his confidence is quite there yet (in a new team and much harder league) and I think he can improve a lot, particularly with regard to commanding his box with crosses. He's certainly benefitting from an excellent defence in front of him, and a great leader in Fonte, so I'm quite sure it'll come. But apparently because we've won, we shouldn't talk about that kind of thing. On a forum. About football. Specifically Saints. Seems odd. But yes, as I said before, great win against a tough side - precisely the type of thing we're adding to our team right now, and it's an absolute delight.
Thanks, I guessed it was along those lines. You can imagine Jose being all protective of Matty Targett after that nasty bastard Crouch had floored him.
*Scratches head* - is it not possible to celebrate a win whilst also looking at areas we can improve, without getting into childish scraps? We can do both, no?
Classic from oatcake especially for our own Joe It's my understanding that centre halfs are meant to stop opposition players shooting. Especially the ****ing good ones!
