Just watched the last episode of Secrets and Lies, good twist at the end, good series overall, especially as it was Australian as they are not usually that good at murder mystery type stuff. Worth watching on catch up - channel 5

For those who like Arrow, The Flash follows a similar concept. <ok>

    ( Looking at you G).

  4. Already been watching it pal, seen first the episodes of current season of both. Very similar with a very slight cross over.

CW do a good job on the DC heroes. Smallville was excellent, as is Arrow and watched 1st ep of the Flash today and already like it. Whilst Gotham is good think CW would have handled it better like they did with Smallville

Uptade on - The Maze Runner.

The boy loved it, and didn't get scared one bit - surprised me slightly as we went to an I-Max to see it.

I thought it was good, not great but well worth a watch <ok>

It's decent enough. I'm tired of all these young adult post-apocalypse films/books now though. Glad the lad liked it, not surprising as it's a very boyish film.

Smallville was 10 seasons of filler rubbish imo.

The Story of how Clark Kent became Superman, told over 400 hours?
The 1978 Richard Donner Superman film did that in 20 minutes, and it was enough.

The 70/80s Superman films are rubbish. Over the top and camp, plus Margo Kidder is awful. The only redeeming feature was Reeve as Superman.
The idea that Smallville was 'how CK became Superman' was ditched after about the 4 series and it was basically Superman without the name as all the main characters, villains and storylines were used.

If you're watching it as some kind of build up to 'Superman' you're viewing it wrong. Just think of it as Superman without the spandex.

Blasphemy!! The first 2 were classics. You will kneel before Zod!!
3 and 4 were crud granted.
And I have to agree with you about Kidder. But the first 2 rocked.

Smallville was awful, like you said, using all the comics villans up before he even became Superman. Why would I watch Superman the series' without Superman?
Completely raped the mythos. Though the woman who played Zara (Supergirl) was smoking hot :p

So it seems the Arrow and the Flash are going to have episodes where they tie in and crossover. Interesting. May have to check out the ol Arrow then.

  15. I don't think there is a major cross over, just slight bits. For example, during s3e3 of The Arrow, Felicity mentions visiting her friend who has been in a coma. This would suggest she is going to appear in s1e4 of The Flash.

I'm watching them in the right order anyway just to make sure. Will be watch episode 4 of both tonight <ok>
